So peaceful & serene, facility and pools were amazing. We had everything we needed for our stay, the little extras were a nice touch and our host had great communication. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay again. We feel safe here and enjoy the view while soaking in the hot tub. It’s also convenient to have the boat ramp on the property. We will stay in the same unit in the future.

Spent almost every moment at our Sons house in Lago Vista with our grandkids. Only showered and slept at unit. Clean and comfortable and several blocks from my son’s house.Found the hair dryer broken (left note) however just used daughter in laws. Would stay again in the future. Wendall Whitted

Home away from home

Hands down this was one of the most thoughtfully equipped Vrbo condos we have stayed at. The resort was very well kept up. The pools had the most amazing views. We felt safe at all times. We absolutely, Loved, Loved, Loved our stay.

Amazing and Relaxing

The host went above and beyond to make our stay the best ever. Her hospitality was amazing. The condo was beautiful, clean and well equipped to Malory stay comfortable! I would recommend this place to everyone if you want to have a nice relaxing stay! I will be staying here again!

Scenic location and lovely condo

The room was clean and nicely decorated. The complex was beautiful with scenic views. The bed is uncomfortable and sinks in the middle. It is a studio and not a 1 bedroom.

The property and area were nice, but the bed was horrible to sleep on. We ended up leaving that same night we got there because of it. Found a different hotel to stay at. I wish I could get my refund since we didnt even stay at all.

Nice little spot

Had to come down for a funeral with the hubby. Great little spot, very easy navigation, very quiet and peaceful. Clean and well organized, with extras! The ONLY complaints paint is the bed. It DOES sink in the middle really bad. (I sleep on top of him mostly anyway, but it did create discomfort. Just lift the mattress and throw the extra bed pillows under, fixed it right up. Would stay here again for sure. Very sweet owners.

We had a GREAT time!!!

I was VERY sad or even disappointed about the lake. It was shocking how low even nonexistent the lake was on one side. We had no access to the lake at all we were newlyweds, so we had a great time being together. The people were amazing even going into town. Everyone in town was so beautiful and warm and welcoming. Really the bed situation was really the worst of it all the bed really needs to be replaced in our unit absolutely, other than that, we had a great time really Quaint and cozy, and if you have an electric vehicle forget about charging your vehicle. We could not charge ours. Our host Peggy Carpenter truly amazing, her communication was awesome she went above and beyond to try to make our stay super. We just loved her!

Not Exactly As Advertised

My biggest and first complaint is that the place reeked of dirty wet dog. I understand that the property is pet friendly which is much appreciated as I am a dog owner however the smell should not hit you as soon as you open the front door. I think some of the key contributors to that is the fact that it doesn't appear that the property is cleaned properly or professionally between guests. In order to feel comfortable we had to clean the bathroom and the floors before we could semi-comfortably settled in. Side note my boyfriend had to unclog and fix the vaccum in order to even properly vacuum the floors which were covered dirt and dog hair. Additionally, the central A/C wasn't operable instead there was portable A/C unit with a large hose that was fed through the only window in the unit. This caused the blinds/window not to be able to close which left us with having to put a beach towel up in order to have privacy from those walking by outside. The humidity was so high in the unit that the bath towels would not dry between showering in the morning leaving all day coming back late at night and then showering again. Lastly there were multiple reviews going back about 2yrs complaining about the bed/mattress needing to be replaced and based on my stay that has yet to be addressed. The photos of the property do reflect the furniture in the unit but definitely do not showcase their current conditions.

Overall clean property. Feels like an oasis on an island with the lush greenery. Very quiet & peaceful. My boys LOVED feeding the deer. They were very docile and eating corn feed directly from their hands.

This was the MOST RELAXING place i have literally ever been in my life!!!!! The condo was perfect. The people were soooo friendly. The Bed WAS AMAZING!!!!! Softest bed i have ever slept on. I will DEFINITLY be back!!!!!!! Deer literally everywhere!!!!! It is sooooo much fun!!!!! The Restaurant had amazing food and drinks at the bar. Just so many wonderful things about this trip. Its a very HEALING place if thats what you need too!!!

Love the options of several pools and hot tubs and use of the boat ramp. Also the room was clean, well equipped and we enjoyed the complimentary wine. I enjoy seeing the deer that hang around the property. We will definitely return.

The best Villa

The resort was everything we expected and more. The deer were out every. Very safe neighborhood to run and walk the dog and baby The condo was clean with everything we needed. She even provided treats upon arrival. The laundry room was directly across from our room. She responded to any questions we had very promptly. We will definitely be staying again

Beautiful and relaxing getaway!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Island. This condo is interior facing but looks on to a gorgeous courtyard. The condo was just big enough for us and our 2 Yorkies- who loved their walks around the grounds! The only drawback was the mattress- it sank down on the middle so much that my husband had to sleep on the couch pullout. If they could upgrade the bed then this condo would be perfect.

Cozy home away from home

Peggy was a wonderful host. Her property is warm and inviting. She provided everything one could possibly need during the stay. She responded quickly to any of our questions and really made us feel at home. During our month long stay we enjoyed the pools and resort, as well as the surrounding area. Definitely would stay again.

Condo quality

The size, amenities, and value of this property were good but was detracked by a very poor bed that was sunken in the middle and badly in need of replacement. Unless this mattress is replaced, I would not consider staying in this unit again.
