Comfortable little cabin in the heart of Grand Lake!
We had a great weekend getaway, enjoying the town of Grand Lake from this nice little cabin! It's just a block off the main street, with the wooden boardwalks, fun shops, good restaurants, and great ice cream. We enjoyed our time in town and at the lake, but look forward to returning and doing some of the great hikes that are nearby. The cabin has a nice little front entry room, a main room with pull-out couch, table, and well-stocked small kitchen, and then the bedroom with bathroom (shower only). We used both the bed and the pull-out couch (both queens), and both were very comfortable! The interior is paneled with beautiful beetle-kill pine wood. The great location in town means you shouldn't expect seclusion and should expect some noise, but it was well worth it to us, to park the car and be able to walk everywhere.
As Advertised; Cozy Cabin in a Great location
The cabin was cozy and comfortable; everything was fairly clean. Bed was comfortable. I would recommend this to any couples visiting the area who are looking for a nice, reasonably-priced place. The kitchen provided us an opportunity to cook our own meals.
The town of Grand Lake is a cute, less-populated alternative to Estes Park for those visiting Rocky Mountain National Park area. The only downside was that it was about an hour and 30 minutes to the east side of the park where a lot of the trails and activities are. However, the west side offered us a great hike at Adams Falls, and a ton of wildlife viewing in the nearby valley (Elk, Moose).
Cozy little cabin.
Loved our stay at the little cabin in Grand Lake. The location was our favorite, just a minute or two on foot to the Marina and the shopping.
Quaint vacation getaway
Property is well situated, very clean, and in good condition. Perfect for 1-2 people, but would be cramped with more. Peggy was friendly and very helpful, even checking in after I had arrived. A few notes: there is no wifi or tv reception, the bed was very comfortable - but a bit squeaky, and the $90 cleaning fee is pretty high for such a small space. Overall I recommend this cabin to those seeking a lovely holiday in the Grand Lake area.
Very comfortable cottage. Convenient to town and to RMNP. Very exciting to see elk and hear bulging.
The lake area, park, town were all a few minutes. Perfect spot for our stay.
Highly recommend! Great location
Really cute cabin and perfect for 2. Couch folds out to accommodate more, but I think that would be too much. Does need some upkeep. The light bulb in the lamp by the bed was burned out and ceiling fan didn't seem to work. We used the kitchen for every meal and found everything we needed to cook, eat and clean up. The location cannot be beat. Right in town. We walked to everything. Nice and quiet during our visit.
Hiking, fishing, boating, shopping.
