Great place to stay for Glacier vacation
This was such a wonderful place to stay. The owners were right there for any needs we had and extremely helpful with places to go. The place was immaculate. Being OCD this is the first time I didn't need to clean:) It was a short drive (about 10") to the West End of the Park for great hiking days. I love the fact the kitchen had quality cookware for once. Very well stocked and there was fresh fruit and muffins when we arrived. Check out was an easy process. Loved getting to know the owners and we will certainly stay here when we come back.
Thank you for staying with us during your vacation in the Flathead Valley and Glacier Park. So glad that you appreciated all the amenities of the house and its location. We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our home. We aim to please. We enjoyed all of our conversations and would surely love to host you in the future.
Great location and house
This is a great location to visit Glacier National Park from. It's a short walk from the river and coffee. It's also only a mile or so from a nice water slide park, a sure hit with kids. Charlotte and Peter were very helpful with anything we needed
Thanks so much for staying with us! We enjoyed meeting your family. The weather was hot during your stay so taking in the water slide was a great alternative to hiking the mountains. Come again!
Great Base for Glacier Adventure
Charlotte and Pete are great hosts and make sure you have everything you need for your stay. Townhouse was very clean and well stocked. Great quiet location in area of large pine trees and 5 minute walk to Flathead River. Columbia Falls is conveniently located; close to Glacier National Park but not too touristy. Hope to be back next year and will definitely stay at townhouse again.
We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us and would love to serve you again. Our goal is to insure that our guests enjoy their vacation. We pride ourselves on the quality and cleanliness of our home. Thanks again for staying with us. Hope to see you next year. There is so much more to see and do!
Could not have asked for more!
Were greeted by owners who were very attentive to all our needs. Little touches like muffins and fruit, laundry detergent and fabric softer as well as how well kept and clean the house was made a big difference to the overall enjoyment of our time spent there. Overall value was exceptional and we not hesitate to rent this property again.
It was so good to have you as our guests! We enjoyed our interactions with all of you and hope to join your group next year when you return to the Flathead Valley. We would welcome another stay with us! Thanks so much.
We had a great time. It is a nice house and is in a good location. You can walk to town and it's an easy drive to Glacier.
Thanks for staying with us in Columbia Falls. Our goal as hosts is to meet and greet our guests and provide them with beneficial information and recommendations in order to assure they truly enjoy their vacation in the Flathead Valley and Glacier Park.
The property was clean and suited our party well. You will need to be checked in by the hosts (who live in the adjoining unit), you will need to do some cleaning before you leave, and you will need to have the host complete a walk-through before you check out. We had never experienced that at any other rentals before, and so we were a bit surprised. Overall, it was a good stay and we were happy to be so close to Glacier National Park.
We want to thank the Schreifels family for their stay, getting up for an early train ride must be stressful. As on site owners of a vacation rental, our policy is to both check-in and check-out our guests. We do not ask anything of our guests that was not asked of us when we rented someone's vacation home. We have stayed at numerous vacation properties on the west coast and we were required to strip beds, put towels in washer and start the load, wash all dishes and return to cupboards, and collect all garbage. Being on site managers has allowed us to interact with our guests and get to know them while recommending restaurants, things to do and places to go. Last year, one of our guests injured them selves while on a mountain hike. They contacted us and we provided them with directions and phone number to the nearest emergency room. Our apologies if our check out procedures added additional stress for your tight travel schedule.
