Homestead is a rustic cabin with all of the comforts of home including full kitchens with microwave, stove/oven and refrigerator, a dining area with table, and a full bath with a tub/shower combination. We also have TV with DVD, G3 cell reception and DSL with Wi-Fi.

Blackbird Island, located near Minnesota's Northwest Angle between Flag Island and Oak Island, offers World Class Fishing, small and big game hunting and great wildlife views. It is surrounded by Minnesota's Lake of the Woods and less than one mile from Canadian waters with over 14,000 islands and 65,000 miles of shoreline. Moor your boat to one of our docks. Take a boat ride, a day-long fishing trip with shore lunch, a hiking expedition or a canoe trip around the islands. Enjoy a lawn game in the sun or simply relax on the deck. Nearby resorts offer boats, guide service and dining options.

great location

See Canada out your front window. due to Corona 19 we couldn't cross over into Canada and fish like usual so fishing was average at best on the Minnesota side.
