Everything was great! Only downside is no air conditioning on the upper level. So if you stay during a hot time of year, keep that in mind. Lots of space and worked out great for my family.

Perfect place for family weekend trip. Beautiful large lot plenty of space for fishing, gathering and outdoor games. Inside was a nice space for gathering. Sleeping areas were great for our group of 8. Well spaced for privacy. Close to beach and casino. Cute and friendly area. Host was very kind, friendly and helpful. We will book again in the future.

Amazing stay

Loved the house, the upstairs was hot and lots of spiders but that's expected being close to the water! We did clean fairly well before we left and made the bed, forgot some stuff but it shouldn't be a problem. Thank you Andy!

Family Vaca!

Great location, lots of room. Way too many spiders, inside and out. Needs a good power wash outside, and a good dusting and broom to knock down webs inside. The upstairs had no A/C, so it's too hot to sleep up there. But the kids and family had a lot of fun and that makes it worth it.

Guys weekend

Perfect place for a large group. This is the second time we've stayed here for an annual get together of old high school buddies. The boat ramp and easy access to the bay makes it nice for the ones of us that are duck hunters. We had a great stay again. The house was clean and warm, and several updates since the last time we stayed. Thanks.

Saginaw Bay Out the Backdoor

We came up to duck hunt and had a great time. The cabin had everything a group of guys would need to go enjoy the bay, and relax in the evening.

great find

spacious home, very nice with all the amenities. Plenty of parking for our trailer and a dock available to leave our boat in the water. Host was very informative and friendly. We will definitely rent this home again next year.

Awesome wedding headquarters

We got married in Standish and made this our home base of operations:). It was absolutely perfect. We wanted for nothing and the property outside was perfect to kick back and relax. We will be visiting again for sure, just without the stress of the wedding. :)

Sister Weekend getaway

The location is amazing. We had so much fun at the local beach and bar that are both within walking distance. The house was spacious and had everything that we needed.

Weekend Tubing Trip Accommodation

Property was as listed. Owner was friendly, easy to communicate with. Had a great weekend with friends. Short drive to casino, was nice to be on the water and also have indoor activities that we could do (ping pong, darts, cards) and plenty of room so that we didn’t feel cramped. Will definitely consider staying again if we are in the area.

Waterfront getaway

A great property on a canal with direct access to Saginaw Bay and the best fishing in the world! Lots of great tips from our host (and neighbors). Plenty of shore fishing as well along the canal. Lots of upgrades to the property since our last visit. Comfortable, well-furnished home.

Cabin on the canal

We came up to hunt the duck opener on the saginaw bay and found it to be perfect. There are 4 bedrooms, 2 grills and plenty of space to park vehicles and it had a boat ramp right on the property. Overall, it was a great cabin/cottage to stay, rest and have a good time with friends.

Great location!

We had a great time at this cottage! The location , the beach, the casino we’re all amazing aspects of our stay! The property itself was very roomy and the kitchen was adequately stocked. The spiders and cobwebs were a bit much and the patio furniture was covered and we didn’t use it. Also the two grills on the property were unusable and not clean, had old charcoal and so much old grease! There was also a random boat docked pretty close to the fire pit and a neighbor said it was a different neighbors boat, which in turn made me very uneasy about having a fire. Also the large walk in shower did not drain so we were unable to use that. But all those things didn’t put a damper on our stay. We were able to make awesome memories and definitely enjoyed our time!

SPIDERS

I could not believe all the spiders, maybe from the house sitting empty. The upstairs was SO hot that we could not sleep there. Because of spiders, one slept on the loveseat recliner, one slept on top of the covers. The dryer made a beeping noise the first day and night till we called and unplugged it. The light in the same room was flickering when on. A wash cloth I used on my face was fit for the rag pile. And could only get to two porch/decks by walking outside and then to the porch?? The floors were uneven, not fit for handicapped at all. It was our first attempt at renting a house. I think we'll go back to a hotel.
