Property type cabin
Minimum Stay 1 - 3 nights

About the property

Cabin, 1 Bedrooms, 1 Baths, Sleeps 4

This pet-friendly Blue River vacation rental is a peaceful retreat in a classic A-frame cabin surrounded by nature, and close to skiing, hiking, and biking.

About five minutes from Breckenridge and 22 miles from Copper Mountain, this pretty, custom-built cabin is less than a half mile from the Blue River Trail system for biking in the summer time, and about six miles from Quandary Peak, one of Colorado's 14,000 foot peaks!

This home includes a washer/dryer, cable, and WiFi, with plenty of natural light. There's plenty of space for up to four guests and one dog (for an additional fee).

Gather around the wood stove and TV on the L-shaped sofa. Even the dog has its own bed to lie on. If you have an infant with you, there is a Pack-n-Play available.

Dining in will be a delicious, fun-filled affair in this updated galley kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Make a giant brunch with the waffle iron, then put the dirty dishes in the dishwasher before heading out for the day. Store your dry ingredients in the walk-in pantry next to the washer/dryer.

The upstairs loft is blocked off by a baby gate, and has a queen bed and a nice desk on which to type out emails or pen thoughts into your journal.

Ski the slopes, raft and fish The Blue, or hike the mountain sides from the comfort of this charming Summit County vacation rental!

*Please note that the home is heated by a wood-burning fireplace.

About Vacasa, CO - Summit County Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Everything was outstanding

  • 5 of 5

Experience was great, property was well maintained and the small pond was utilized by Wesley, a neighbors dog. We look forward to returning next year about the same time!

Cozy cabin

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin. It has everything you need and the kitchen was well stocked to cook. We loved having coffee on the deck in the morning and staying warm by the fireplace at night. Our only mild complaint is that checkout is 11am and they showed up to clean at 10:40 while we were trying to enjoy one last cup of coffee outside before leaving. We felt rushed to go with them sitting the driveway. It was kind of an annoying way to end our trip but not a deal breaker. They should consider arriving to clean after checkout in the future incase there are people like us who literally had everything packed to go and we're hoping to soak in our last half hour of nature. All in all, the cabin is sweet and cozy though!

August vacation

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks in the beginning of August and had a lovely , restful break. There are endless outdoor hiking and biking activities and fields and fields of wildflowers this time of year. Saw two moose when I went outside one morning.

The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and the cabin is well organized and clean. I would like to come back again!
