Eagle Point has everything you need for a fun and relaxing get-away. The living room has panoramic views of the lake where you'll find a fireplace, games & books. The eat-in kitchen is fully stocked. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs and a loft bedroom upstairs. The deck on the lakeside has a picnic table & chairs next to a large lawn, boat dock and camp fire pit. You can walk over the bridge to the playground and park.
Pam and Keith are the owners of Eagle Point. Pam is a native who still enjoys the beauty of Honeoye Lake and the surrounding hills through all of the seasons. Keith grew up in Rochester, but much prefers the country life with it's wide open spaces. Pam works at Wizard of Clay Pottery and also manages real estate rentals and sales. Keith is a teacher at BOCES and also works as a handyman and maintenance guy for several cottages on the lake. We work hard, but when it's time to relax we both love the great outdoors, boating, grilling, and spending time with our family and friends.
Keith Rotach purchased this cottage in 2013
We chose Eagle Point because of the amazing view. Plus we wanted a place to get away from it all where we could entertain in a relaxing atmosphere. Our first week in the cottage we were busy painting and heard an unusual bird call. Looking out the window - way up in a tall tree we saw two bald eagles! That's when we came up with the name Eagle Point.
There are few views on Honeoye Lake better than this one and the sunsets can't be beat. The neighbors are friendly and helpful.
This is a nice cottage on a quiet, peaceful location. The neighbors are great and extremely helpful. We had a wonderful time, good fishing and slept well. (the beds are very comfy!!) Thank you Pam and Keith for letting our dog, Riley, join us. He had the best time. You keep a very clean and comfortable cottage, well worth an enjoyable vacation. This will definitely be a consideration for us next year. Thanks again....Dan and Alita
You may not want to leave the deck at the cottage, but if you do want to venture out there are lots of things to do in our area. There are hiking & biking trails, restaurants, shops, local wineries & micro-breweries. No trip is complete without taking a drive to Naples for a walk to the waterfall at Grimes Glen and stopping by Joseph's Market to sample local produce and baked goods.
