Why Pam Castronova & Keith Rotach chose Honeoye
We chose Eagle Point because of the amazing view. Our first week in the cottage we were busy painting and heard an unusual bird call. Looking out the window - way up in a tall tree we saw two bald eagles! That's when we came up with the name Eagle Point.
What makes this Cottage unique
There are few views on Honeoye Lake better than this one and the sunsets can't be beat. The neighbors are friendly and helpful.

Nice spot in Honeoye
We enjoyed our stay in the Honeoye area! This rental was a good location for us to visit the surrounding area, and the neighbors were friendly. The Cornerstone Market is a great place for a sandwich, and the Noble Shepherd Brewery for a cold drink. We also enjoyed hiking around Canadice and Hemlock Lakes. This home also was pet friendly and had good yard and plenty of quiet roads for us to walk!
The owners were very responsive and helpful!
great spot on the point... eagles or not!
Nice cottage and furnishings... fireplace was bit tricky at times but Keith was always on the spot to help. Plenty of room... especially outside on the large deck and grounds beside the lake. Our pup loved it, and so did we. We'd love to try it in the summer but lack of AC (beyond lake cooling) could be a problem. But we'll be back for sure as scheduling allows! Then maybe Keith will tell us where the eagles are kept haha. PS: the Honeyoye and Naples areas are great places to explore.
Thanks so much for your review. There is usually a nice cool breeze off the lake - so we don't have A/C. Please come back to Eagle Point soon!
Eagle Point.....a good choice!
This is a nice cottage on a quiet, peaceful location. The neighbors are great and extremely helpful. We had a wonderful time, good fishing and slept well. (the beds are very comfy!!) Thank you Pam and Keith for letting our dog, Riley, join us. He had the best time. You keep a very clean and comfortable cottage, well worth an enjoyable vacation. This will definitely be a consideration for us next year. Thanks again....Dan and Alita
You may not want to leave the deck at the cottage, but if you do want to venture out there are lots of things to do in our area. There are hiking & biking trails, restaurants, shops, local wineries & micro-breweries. No trip is complete without taking a drive to Naples for a walk to the waterfall at Grimes Glen and stopping by Joseph's Market to sample local produce and baked goods.
