Most relaxing beach home we’ve stayed at in Galveston beach area. Beds were super comfortable as well as living room furniture. Outside high Adirondack chairs are a must for viewing beach over deck railing. The chairs on the deck were amazing! The overhang on porch was perfect for afternoon wave watching.

This was the perfect beach home right on the water! We loved the big patio with unobstructed ocean views, the big windows capturing ocean waves. We also loved that the home seemed to be directly on the path of the “Pelican Highway.” We watched the pelicans fly over the house each morning and evening. That was really cool!The kitchen had everything we needed! The bedrooms were perfect for our family. There were some games and puzzles, which we put together two of the puzzles during our stay. We are already trying to figure out when we will return again. Will definitely book again.

Perfect location! The beautiful windows and deck are the main reason we chose this property. The house delivered on both issues. We had the beach behind the house to ourselves. The fact that it is on a no drive section of the beach, keeps it private and secure.

We had an awesome time at the spacious beach rental. Great location right on the beach on a quiet road. Plenty of room for our whole family. The lift was a definite plus for our suitcases and groceries, etc. Lynn was very friendly and accommodating with any questions we had with quick response time. If we return to Galveston, we would love to rent again.

The house was nice and close to the beach. Views were great. Communication was great until there was a problem that was addressed with the host and then there was no response and still has not been a response. The grassy dunes are very close with the house being first row. The grass in the yard was overgrown quite a bit. We had been out cooking one evening and went back out to clean up the grill. About 2 foot from the grill was a huge rattlesnake in the actual yard. It was hidden by the overgrown grass because it was so tall and the only way we did not got bitten was because luckily we heard it rattling in time! The other yards around us were well maintained. I would not recommend this place if you want to play games outside or if you have children because the grass was too tall to enjoy being out there and dangerous because you can’t see snakes if they come up from the dunes. I messaged the host to let her know about the grass and the snake and she never responded or addressed it at all.

I visit Galveston a few times a year to decompress from the constant grind of life.This visit was my best ever. I have never seen this part of Galveston until now. The property was clean, well kept and comfortable. The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming with great natural lighting and a beautiful uninterrupted view of the Gulf. (no man made structures in sight). I really enjoyed my time here.

The home is beautiful and right on the beach as it is described. When the air wasn’t cooking the host quickly got someone there to resolve the problem and the Tempe’s comfortable for the remainder of the stay. I would suggest that maybe you check in a little more closely on your cleaning crew. The mast bathroom had a bedside commode and baby items in the closet that were not the cleanest. Our last nite there we were over run with roaches but only in the master bedroom - it was weird as we had not seen them anywhere else the whole time prior to them. Also your internet was not working the majority of the time we were there so I was unable to work and our tv selections were very limited. Other than that the property is very nice.

In 2018, we had an opportunity come up to invest in Bare Feet Retreat (named by my college best friend and biggest life cheer leader) as place not only to make memories within our family but to share with others.
