The split bedroom plan has 2 guest bedrooms on the ground floor. The beachside Guest Bedroom features a queen-sized bed and has a private adjoining full bathroom with tub/shower combination. Guest Bedroom #2 has twin beds and is serviced by the full bathroom located just steps outside its door in the hallway adjacent. There is also a half bath/ water closet on the ground floor off of the kitchen. Up the stairs there is a huge family room with fabulous beach and Gulf views, as well as an enormous master bedroom that also enjoys incredible views of the beach and the Gulf of Mexico. No street parking is allowed and cars are not really a requirement between the Pinellas Suncoast Trolley and the various services that comb the beaches ferrying people for tips alone!

St. Pete Beach is a treasure-trove of activities from strolling, shelling, swimming and fishing to loads of gastronomical delights featuring the best grouper you could ever hope to eat! It is all here and there is plenty in between too! Beach Bars blasting Buffett abound. Several local venues vie for the title of best burger on the beach! Try them all! Fancy Japanese? We have it! In fact, we have Thai, Italian, Mexican, German, Cuban, Spanish, Chinese - not to mention several places that feature local seafood. RumFish Grill at the Guy Harvey Resort, has an enormous indoor aquarium that displays local marine life. (That's just in case you want to know what the fish on your plate looks like when swimming gracefully by your table!) If you want to put on your best duds - The Don CeSar has The Maritana Grill - second to none and richly deserving of its multitude of accolades. Hotel Zamora is the newest addition to our crown of upscale dining. Hotel Zamora, like The Don, is just a short walk away! In fact Gulf Watch Beach Retreat is in the heart of many exciting beach venues that are perfect for making memories that will have you returning year after year to St. Pete Beach and this quintessential beach retreat.

Guestbook comments from the manager

We received all the information we needed to check in about a week before we arrived. We were able to access the storage area and stored our bikes inside. Although, the neighborhood was very safe and we left them out several nights without any problems. St Pete Beach is the perfect spot to vacation. This home has easy access to the beach. There was also a grill on the back porch. We loved to hang out on the porch and deck to enjoy the views. If we ever need to rent a house at St Pete, we will definitely look to see if this one is still available.

Family Vacation

  • 5 of 5

We had our family vacation at this beautiful beach front house. The house had a lot of room and was great for the 6 adults we had. Only thing wrong was the refrigerator didn't keep stuff cold just more of a cool and the ice maker didn't make ice it would only make like a cup of ice a day. But other then the refrigerator the house was beautiful my family sat on the deck every night and enjoyed the nice breeze coming off of the ocean. All the restaurants were awesome never had bad service which made staying at the house even better. I would recommend this house to anybody.

Great beach location

  • 5 of 5

Great beachfront property with perfect location. A quick walk through the grass and you are on the beach. Within walking distance of beach bars, restaurants, and Don Cesar's. Second story deck allows for unobstructed views of the gulf. Perfect for watching dolphins while enjoying morning coffee or enjoying a drink during the sunset. Our party of 6 never felt cramped - the house feels bigger than it actually is. Ample bathrooms, large bedrooms, etc. Whatever we needed during the stay seemed to be within reach (bottle openers, plates, etc.). Was nice to have laundry and dishwasher on site. Felt like we were right at home. Would stay there again.

Beautiful location

  • 5 of 5

The house is situated on St Pete Beach. Gorgeous sunsets. The view is amazing from the second floor porch. The house itself is very nice and built well. Fun neighborhood near lots of restaurants. Clean with a great huge master bedroom upstairs. Lots of bathrooms. The managing company was very responsive and nice. Decorating is dated here and there but the house was perfectly functional with excellent newer appliances. We hope to stay there again in the future.

Excellent beach access and sunset views

  • 5 of 5

Well equipped; two story home with 2nd floor balcony offering stunning sunset views over the Gulf. Clean, modern bathrooms, and a well equipped kitchen. The white sandy beach is a very short walk out the back door. Staff is accommodating, responsive, and courteous. Would stay there again.

Great Location!

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful home! Amazing View and beautiful beach! The house is an older home but was very clean with new appliances and cooking utensils, including a very nice, new gas grill. Second floor family room and balcony was a perfect spot for the family to hang out together and we ate our meals outside on the first floor porch.

Danyell of Beach Time Realty Group was extremely helpful and provided exceptional customer service...I highly recommend them We had a great time!

Car: not necessary

When you arrive, you will know why St. Pete Beach is consistently rated at the top of the beaches in the US! The warm Gulf waters and pristine sand beckon you. The sound of the surf calms you. The sun warms you and browns your skin. The warm, salt water buoys your spirits, as does the sound of Jimmy Buffett seeping from the beach bars as you walk along the beach. Take off your flip flops! Strolling through the water, searching for shells is a great daily pastime! Grab a Styrofoam noodle and float away your worries! It's the best buck you will ever spend at The Dollar Tree! :o) Mosey up the beach and rent a jet ski or go parasailing. Your kids might like to give the slide at The Tradewinds a shot. There are many venues with live music from the southern tip of Pass A Grille to the north end of St. Pete Beach. Sunsets are an event. Each one is different, from pink and orange hues that cascade across the sky to deep purples - this nightly show is phenomenal. They say that there is the possibility of a green flash as the sun sinks below the horizon. (I have never seen one, but I know people who swear that they have! Put it this way, I always look for it! ) As the sun sets and the temperature cools, it is yet another perfect time to go for a stroll. There are many great places to eat - including your back yard, which is set up with a gas grill. Get your grill on for a beachside BBQ - or head out to one of the many venues within walking distance.

St Pete Beach is the most convenient of the Pinellas chain of islands that grace the Gulf! You can be on the Pinellas Bayway in 2 minutes and on I275 in less than 10. Downtown St. Petersburg, with a plethora of restaurants and museums, as well as the Major League Baseball Team, the Tampa Bay Rays, is only a 15 min drive. Golfers? Isla del Sol is literally within walking distance or a 5 minute drive. Join Paradise Golf for privileges to Isla del Sol and many other local courses that are normally not available to non-members! There is so much to do in Downtown St. Pete that it is mind-boggling! Visit the DAli Museum, which hosts the largest collection outside of Spain. Saunter over to the Dale Chilhuly Exhibit - the only permanent one in the US! There is also the Museum of Fine Arts and the History Museum. All of those great cultural experiences are only about 15 minutes drive! Once you are "Cultured-Out," or even during the museum cultural crawl - you can enjoy the great downtown venues for food and drink along Beach Drive's waterfront promenade. No car required! Free-Beach Ride or one of the other taxi-like services will take up to 8 people downtown from St. Pete Beach for around $30 + tip! You won't want to leave the beach often though, because there is so much to do right on your door step! However, if you fancy a trip a little further afield, call Free Beach Ride or take the Suncoast Trolley. You really can manage without the need for a car on this beach vacation. Of course, if you have a car, you may want to check out Busch Gardens in Tampa - or make the 90 minute trek to Disney or Universal Studios. It is possible to drive up in the morning and back at night. One thing is for sure, the sound of the surf will never be sweeter than it is in the moment you open your patio door having just returned from a full day at a theme park! :o)
