Beautiful home on the oceanside of Summerland Key on a protected deep water canal one lot in from the ocean. 45' seawall will accommodate boats up to 40' in length and 5' in draft. Direct Ocean access to great offshore/backcountry fishing and reef diving/snorkeling that are literally minutes away. The property features spectacular ocean views, a private in-ground heated pool with a paver lounging area, a Tiki Hut, cable TV, a washer and dryer, a gas barbecue grill, and more!

Open concept living with a nicely appointed kitchen with all the appliances and conveniences necessary for a great stay along with a large 8-seat center island for cooking and dining. Entertainment with a 70" TV and bar buffet hosting all the supplies you will need. The downstairs deck also has lovely ocean and sunrise views.

Newly remodeled upstairs master suite has incredible sunrise views from the king-size Sleep Number bed. A new master bathroom with sun-filled ocean views while you brush your teeth and a walk-in shower with three shower heads. Off the master suite offers views that go on for miles and the sunrises are spectacular. An additional ensuite has been added to the upstairs guest bedroom featuring a walk-in shower, comfy king-size bed, and closet. One downstairs bedroom features a king size and the other features a queen bed. The downstairs bedrooms share a lovely bathroom with a shower and tub.
All bedrooms have cable TV and wireless internet.

Key West is less than 1/2 hour away by car and offers great shopping, dining, entertainment, and nightlife. This is an exceptional property that has all that you will need to enjoy a fantastic vacation in the Florida Keys!

Very Disappointed!! Renters BEWARE!!

Our family has visited the Fl Keys annually for 15 years and we have never had any issues with rental homes. We rented this house as a last-minute reservation since it hadn't been rented for the month of June and was given a reduced rate since we weren't renting it for a full 28 days. We have the email correspondences of this agreement. After reviewing the Monroe county guidelines, we discovered that rentals should last at least 28 days; therefore, the house was knowingly rented to us against county ordinance, just so they could have rental income for June. We feel like the security deposit that was more than normal was wrongfully withheld to makeup the difference for the “discount” given at the time of booking. In addition to this house being unlawfully rented, we were accused of wildly false allegations both during and after our stay. Upon arrival, we called the property manager because there was a closet door part laying on one of the beds. He said he attempted to repair the door and had left the piece. We were accused of breaking this door when the property manager was fully aware of this damage before we entered the property; yet you want to charge us for it. Later in our stay, the same property manager handled himself inappropriately when he falsely accused us of having more guests. He later realized the accusation was false and apologized for how he conducted himself. The pool was cloudy, stained upon arrival, and became green at the end of the month; however, the owner is charging us extra for pool service when we caused no damages. They accused us of using too much water and pursuant to the contract with the homeowner, we are entitled to review the utilities bill to deduct any overages from our deposit; we have yet received a copy. I personally cleaned the home spotless before leaving. The cleaning ladies only had to wash a few towels and sheets. We didn't take any towels and are very offended of this accusation. The property manager wasn't there to take inventory, only the cleaning staff was present. You can't hold us responsible for lost items when a third party enters the home after we left. We're extremely offended by the false claims made by the owner. We're very honest people and would never destroy or steal anything from anyone! We have repeatedly requested an itemized statement to show why the deposit wasn't refunded and there's no response. We have pictures to show how pristine we left the property at departure. Renters Beware!!

Beautiful view!

We really enjoyed our time in the keys. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked with spices and anything you would need to cook. The pool area was very relaxing and the pool was awesome. The neighbors were very nice and we enjoyed the surrounding area. We rode our bikes all over Summerland Key. We really enjoyed the beautiful views and can’t wait to come back.

Seaside Solitude

My family calls this beautiful home the “sleeping house.” The pottery barn inspired coastal decor and the comfortable beds with crisp clean linens truly added the extra touch of luxury to our vacation. The pool was always welcoming and beautiful as well as the upstairs view of the ocean. Jean was always responsive as well as the property manager at all and odd times. We will definitely look forward to booking this property again.

Great family getaway place. Very comfortable furnishings and everything you need is there. The views and the pool added so much to the relaxing atmosphere. The dock set up was easy to manage, the canal was wide, and right on Niles channel so easy access to the back country and ocean (Looe Key, etc). The owner is terrific and the property manager went above and beyond. Great vacation. Thank you.

Our year round home is in Michigan. We have been vacationing in the Keys for the last 10 years and really enjoy the atmosphere that the Keys offer. It has been a dream of ours to own a home in the keys so we could escape some of the winters months to fish and enjoy some sunshine.

Why they chose this property

This property is located on Summerland Key which is one of the most desirable of all of the Florida Keys. It is close to Key West but quiet and peaceful. The boat dock is on a short, protected canal and the open ocean on Niles Channel is 150' from the dock. There are only 4 other houses on this canal. Looe Key, one of the best areas in the Keys is a 10 minute boat ride away. Bahia Honda State Park is a short 8 Mile drive.
