Christmas at the Lake House 2019

This is a beautiful property in progress! We loved all the room! Only thing is that owner needs to have stocked these items....dishwasher soap, light bulbs, nice towels! Won’t take much to make a stellar VRBO! Just need to fix light fixtures so bulbs stay in and don’t blink, ceiling fans and such! Cleaning deck chairs would have been nice as they were dusty so we didn’t sit on deck. Attention to detail will make this the PERFECT stay but no matter, we enjoyed our time together in this beautiful house!

Great River Property

This was a great river property for our family of 6. Felt secluded and private, but still great driving distance to everything. I even got to go to Mass. Don't forget this is the river so bring your big spray for the mosquitos. Home had everything you need and more. They just put a small pool in. It was perfect for relaxing if you didn't want to get in the river. Jason was very helpful.

Pretty good river house, don't completely recommend it for people with younger kids.

Gonna start with saying this is a decent location which was pretty well stocked with the extras you might forget at home(seasonings,butter,dishware,pots and pans. Very nice being on the river, felt secluded. Overall my people enjoyed fishing and hanging out here for our weekend. Now for the downsides.Pictures definitely make it look bigger than it is. Alot of spider webs everywhere outside. There was a fan in the bedroom pic but there was no fan, just exposed wiring and a new fan in box next to the bed. Leaky showerhead in the bathroom with the removable head.Couple nails sticking out of the dock is why I dont recommend it for people with kids. Also recommendation to the owners, please install a ladder for the dock as it was very difficult getting back up for us when we did swim. Overall it's decent, but can be improved by so much.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and we wanted to share the following: - The floods have temporarily caused damage to the boathouse, and the owner is working to resolve the maintenance issues. - The ceiling fan has been replaced. - The owner also is working on additional upgrades, including a new hot tub and swimming pool, which will be complete in about a month. Outstanding visit

Our stay couldn’t have been better. From a tentative host, to the most comfortable king size bed, a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of clean linens, there were so many positives to this beautifully renovated river-house we can’t say enough. It was perfect for our family of 4 kids and 4 adults. We have so many memories of fishing on the dock and enjoyed eating some delicious catch as well. Hope to come back in the future. Thank you!

Beautiful river view

We were in Houston for work and decided to make a weekend of it. We loved having coffee on the deck in the mornings. And my husband was able to do some fishing off the boat dock. The area was beautiful and peaceful. The house was well stocked and very clean. Jason, the owner, was very nice and great to work with. Hopefully we can make it back for an actual vacation next time!
