The layout was perfect. The property is outdated. The king bed was extremely uncomfortable and noisy. The location was perfect and so was the pool area. We understand about hurricane damage, but it would have been nice to have known ahead of time.

The pool was wonderful!

This house is dated but in a desirable location close to The Westin and Cape Harbour. The giant pool was the real draw though. We had the property manager turn up the pool heat for the entire week and we swam more than any other vacation. It could be cleaner, kitchen drawers and whatnot. I would also recommend stocking some beach chairs, coolers, etc. but all in all it was nice.

Sad to leave

This was perfect for our family. It is an older property which made our dogs and kids feel welcome. Very convenient location for shopping and restaurants. Pool and hot tub are well maintained and we used them constantly. In fact a brand new heater for the pool has been added. All in all this property made for a wonderful south Florida vacation for all.

It was just okay.

The property was clean except for the hot tub which was dirty and definitely not cleaned prior to our arrival which was very disappointing considering it was a determining factor when I rented the house.

A getaway from the Keys

Perfect home away from home! We spent most of our days and nights floating in the pool and watching the rain showers from the hot tub. We made delicious meals in the kitchen and enjoyed playing cards at night. It’s a perfect home away from home for us just about 3 hours away from our home in the Keys. We loved the neighborhood, the curious owls, the sweet bunnies around the house and the helpful neighbors. The check in and out were easy and communication was simple with texts and the home screen. We felt comfortable and at home and this is exactly what we wanted.

Property was ok, could use some touching up, as it is a little run down. Window in kitchen won’t close all the way so bugs and ants can get in and are attracted to the lights at night.

Fun but could use upgrades

My husband and I stayed at this property. Having stayed at other VRBOs, I was a little disappointed with the lack of some of the kitchen items. It did not have a crockpot, but Michelle was nice enough to loan hers to me. I had to purchase pot holders and a pizza cutter as there were none. The day I used the crockpot, when we returned, the house had many flies in it that had entered through the bottom of the kitchen window (did not shut tight), and no fly swatter, but we did manage to get rid of them. The bathrooms are not equipped with exhaust fans, and the stools did not always flush well. There is only one television in the house, which for those who like to watch the news or movies in the bedroom, is a con. Fairly quiet neighborhood, but some loud-mufflered cars early morning weekdays. On the pro side, when we had a problem or question about something, Michelle and Phillip were very polite and fast at responding and also at recommending some places to eat or sights to see. The pool and the hot tub were absolutely wonderful. We had our kids visit for a few days and had a hard time getting them to come out of the pool - we and they enjoyed it immensely. All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay in Florida.

Winter Escape

We were very pleased with the property and layout of home. The pool is solar heated which meant we had the solar cover on daily. The hot tub was an added bonus for our winter escape. Enjoyed it greatly in the evening. The location was fabulous in regards to restaurants and just a 20 mile drive to Ft. Myers beach. The neighborhood is quiet and great for walking on a beautiful day. One slight downfall is the kitchen is not equipped with an abundance of cooking utensils and oven mitts. All in all a great vacation getaway.

Not what was expected

The listing says heated pool but really should be updated to say solar heated pool. Visiting during December, the water was COLD! No one dared to enter. All the beds are extremely hard and only flat pillows could be found in every room. The far room with two twin beds smelled musty especially after a rainy day. The neighborhood seems nice and quiet and we enjoyed our walks. The kitchen was fine and had plenty of staple seasonings and coffee filters! I was a little caught off guard with the check-out procedures though. Not only was an in-person checkout appointment required, but we were expected to do all of the laundry prior to leaving. I've stayed in several VRBOs and never have had this responsibility. Half of our party had a 5am flight which made this impossible. All things considered, it wasn't the worst stay, but also wasn't the best.

Wonderful house

We really enjoyed staying at the house in Cape Coral! It really had everything that a family of 4 with a dog would need! The pool and hot tub were wonderful and all the amenities were just perfect. I highly recommend staying at Villa Yvonne !
