Welcome to Almost Heaven. Short walk to Summersville lake! Sleeps 8, hot tub.


This area is truly a great find very nice people very private residential area WITH families and we will expect you to drive and have fun accordingly if you can’t please keep looking.


This home loaded with cozy country charm short drive to the town of Summersville less than 1 mile to convenience stores Mable's diner for breakfast or cook yourself with all the kitchen supplies at your fingertips.

Plenty of outdoor space with over 3 acres of property fire pit with ample wood provided, Brand new 6 person hot tub with privacy fence, outdoor grill, gas fire pit on rear deck lots of deck space both front and back of house.
approximately 900sq ft of deck space a portion screened in and under roof for those rainy days!

Inside enjoy 60 inch TV over the gas fireplace, tv's in each room with direct TV, WIFI stereo with bluetooth to stream from your phones. Master bedroom has a King bed with attached master bath, upstairs has queen bunk beds and futon in one room and additional queen bed in the loft so a total 4 beds and a full upstairs bath.

All linens towels wash rags all are provided as well as an ample supply of paper products.

You can take a short walk or bike ride to beautiful Summersville lake from front door water is 2800ft.


Due to the number of questions regarding boat parking we have made arrangements for free parking for your boat!!! The parking is two minutes away from home and on the way to the marina and launch areas.

The marina for boat launch is 5 minutes away..

This is residential area with children I expect you to drive like YOUR kids play here.

Please note the winter months in WV can be unpredictable an all wheel or 4 wheel drive is a must if there is snow on the ground.

Wonderful cabin and host

We had a wonderful visit in this cabin. We came to enjoy the winter snow and will definitely be back to enjoy the summer activities in the lake.

The cabin is absolutely beautiful, inside and out! Extremely clean and really comfortable.The host was great, answered our questions ASAP. And came to fix our water issue on a Sunday, when he couldn't reach his own plumber. Plus cut up some campfire wood bc what was there was so damp. We had a great week!

Great cabin it was super close to the upper gauley put in . We came up to do some whitewater and to have a nice place to come to at the end of the day with a hot tub was great .

The home is very clean. The host was easy to contact and was helpful with all of our questions. The beds were comfortable and the location of the home was perfect for all of our activities we did at the lake, the gorge, and in Fayetteville. The hot tub was great for relaxing at the end of the day. I am very happy we stayed at this property and would not hesitate to stay here again when we are back in the NRG area.

Beautiful cabin in the woods

We had a terrific stay at this spot - comfortable beds, relaxing atmosphere, thoroughly cleaned and enjoyable. The hot tub was also well maintained and easily accessible. Location is definitely pretty out of the way and quiet, but not far at all from easy access to the lake, Fayetteville or the New. We would definitely stay again in the future.

Very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Close to beautiful Lake Summerville. Owner was very responsive and nice. Quiet area. We loved it and also loved the hot tub.

Slice of Heaven

We enjoyed our stay while visiting family in the area for Thanksgiving. Johnny was a great host, answered all our questions promptly. The house was exactly as stated in the description, and was clean and ready when we arrived. When we weren’t visiting family, we enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch and exploring down by the lake.

The perfect getaway!

This is my families second time staying at this exact place for our Summersville lake vacation, and we love it! It’s nice and secluded, yet minutes from everything related to the lake and many other things in the area The host is super nice, and takes great care of this place We enjoyed the hot tube and grilling with my family, and look forward to booking again next year!

Very clean and nice. The third bedroom being a loft is part of the deal and very comfortable but it is not private and shares the upstairs bath with the second bedroom which is set up for kids. It might work better to make the loft the kids room and put the queen bed in the private upstairs room for adults.

Love Lake Life

This property never disappoints! Another great stay. Rented this same property in the spring. Pictures do not do it justice. Clean, accommodating and close to Summerville Lake Marina. We enjoyed the last days of summer on The lake.
