Why Caleb Jamison chose East

We looked at several properties and we were blown away by how vast the views were at this place compared to others we were considering. The back porch view is our favorite part.

Notes:
October Fall Get-a-way 5 of 5 Our visit to the cabin provided us with a much needed get-a-way in a very cozy, comfortable and serene setting just outside Pigeon Forge. We thoroughly enjoyed the views from each deck and the hot tub in the evenings. Attention to every detail in making this cabin a home away from home was looked after. We would recommend it to those that like quiet get-a-way to those that like all that the Smokey Mountains have to offer. The fall colors and the beauty of the mountains certainly made our vacation wonderful! Submitted: Oct 28, 2013 Stayed: Oct 2013 Source: HomeAway

ALL the view you need!

  • 5 of 5

We originally chose the cabin mainly for the view but enjoyed it all. There is a little drive on a gravel road to get there but once you arrive, you won't regret it! It's only a short drive from the Parkway, but a very quiet area. The cabin is very clean and nicely decorated. There was plenty of seating and several options to just sit and enjoy the view. We enjoyed a movie night, hanging out in the hot tub and many games of pool as a family. Unless you have knee problems (3 floors of stairs), you should not think twice about staying!

Beautiful, clean and easy to get to town

  • 4 of 5

The interior was tastefully decorated, clean and awesome views. Our family enjoyed our stay! We were far enough from town to see the mountains and be in the woods but close enough to get to town easily.

Stunning, unobstructed views of the mountains. Secluded but within distance to all activities.

  • 5 of 5

The Crimson Moon is simply spectacular. For the price point, there is simply nowhere else I would rather stay. My family and I will most definitely rent this property again. Stop looking, you've found your vacation chateau.

very accommodating, nice and quiet and clean.

  • 5 of 5

the property was excellent. The road leading to the property was an adventure with it's many

curves and steep hills. The last quarter mile needs repair as it is a private road with many ruts.

I am person over 75 years old and Pidgeon Forge was not my cup of tea, but the food was very good at the restaurants we went to.

Beautiful view. Quiet area clean and cozy.

  • 4 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Just a breathtaking view off the balcony. Shot trip to the attractions. Very comfortable king size beds. The reason for not giving five stars. For nearly the entire week there were large cardboard boxes in front of the home with a warning written on them for others not to use the trash cans which made the front of unit look trashy. There was a moving pod out front all week making parking tighter. There were two deliveries made to the unit while we were there, and people came to repair pool table during our stay, so two other sets of people had access to unit while we were there. It did not really pose a problem for us, but may for others. Caleb was very helpful.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the review and we are glad you had a good overall experience. We do apologize for the inconvenience of the storage unit, boxes and the few interruptions. We have been doing renovations to the cabin and upgrades to the furniture in an effort to improve the cabin and the experience for our guests. This required us to keep a storage unit on the property for a short period for delivery of the large furniture so that we could replace the furniture during dates that were not occupied. The furniture has been replaced and the storage unit is no longer on site. We also like to make sure we are repairing damaged furniture, appliances etc in a timely manner which at times does mean there may be a service man scheduled during your stay. We try to schedule these during open dates as much as possible. We are also very prompt in responding to guest if they have a complaint. We are not sure why the boxes were brought back to the cabin but this was not mentioned by the guest at any time and we picked up the boxes as soon as we noticed during a regular trash pickup. We always ask that if you have a complaint or issue to notify property management and it will be handled immediately.

Beautiful cabin inside and out!

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful cabin with an amazing view yet still close to everything that Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg have to offer. Loved playing pool with the family and relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day. Hope to stay longer next time!
