Large Zilker Home- Downtown, SOCO, Barton Springs, ACL, SXSW, Weekend Getaway!

Licensed with the City of Austin, my house is the perfect spot to enjoy this wonderful town. The area around my listing has everything you could want or need. I live in the 78704 zip code- which is probably the coolest area in Austin - just ask any Austinite.

Safety and cleanliness are very important to us especially during these times, please know that we do everything to make sure you are walking into a very clean and safe house.

Less than 2 miles from downtown and 5-10 minute walk to Zilker Park, Barton Springs Pool, and the hike and bike trail as well as several bars, restaurants and theaters- Alamo Drafthouse, The Topfer, The Long Center, Palmer Auditorium, The Highball, The Picnic (food trucks), Uchi, Odd Duck, Chuys, Baby Acapulco's, Ramen Tatsuya, The Gibson, Broken Spoke & the Saxon Pub. Less than a 5 minute car ride to the Continental Club, C-Boys and an array of cool shopping on South Congress Ave, as well as just 7 minutes from the downtown area and the convention center. Don’t feel like driving? You can hop on the Cap Metro Bus, call Uber or Lyft or rent a bike at one of the many Austin B-Cycle locations.

My house is a 2 story - modern, extremely comfortable, 4 bedroom - (6 beds, all bedrooms have comfortable mattresses)-2.5 bathroom home - master bedroom with private bath downstairs- all other bedrooms upstairs. Very comfortable sectional sofa in living room and a sleeper sofa in den with Queen size mattress. Garage-3 TVs-cable-wireless internet-full kitchen and a washer, dryer. Perfect home for groups staying for SXSW festival in March, ACL in October, Formula One in November or just a weekend getaway. Available all year round.

Incredible location for your time in Austin

We stayed in this home with our family. Lori was incredibly communicative and clear with house notes. The house having several bedrooms was perfect for our group and everyone enjoyed telling stories on the back deck in the Austin evening. We would stay here again!

We were in town for SXSW and the location was perfect! 2 blocks away from the Alamo, lots of dining options, and free parking on the street. The home was clean, comfortable and welcoming. The host Lori was accessible and accommodating as well. 10/10 recommend.

College reunion

We had a wonderful stay at this home. It’s located in a nice and walkable neighborhood and felt very homey. The owner met us in person at the home to give us the keys and info for our stay. She was thorough and friendly. She also texted during our stay to inquire if we had any questions. Questions that we did have were answered quickly. Our group consisted of five 60-year old women. A few found the upstairs taller than the average two story home and the stairwell a bit steep, but there is a sturdy guardrail and carpet on the stairs. We would stay again.

Cool neighborhood blocks from entertainment. Great spot for a group of 10 guys on Labor Day weekend. With a blow up mattress we were all comfortable. The host was great with communication.

Plenty of space in a great location!

I came here with 11 other women (12 of us total) for a bachelorette weekend, and we had a great time! Lori was very easy to get in touch with, and she left a list with house instructions & recommendations around the area that was really useful to have. Since we were a group of 12, 2 people slept on the pull-out couch, and 2 others slept on the sectional sofa, but we still had plenty of space to hang out. There are good restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, and you can easily walk to Barton Springs/Zilker Park as well. Everything house-related went smoothly—would definitely recommend this house and area for a fun group weekend in Austin!

Great Time!

We had a great time over Labor Day weekend. The house was clean and well taken care of. It was extremely comfortable for a group of 8. There were numerous things to do within walking distance, and if you wanted to head into downtown transportation was not an issue. If you are looking for a place to stay in the Austin area this is a great one to check out!

Great house in a quiet neighborhood with an incredibly accommodating host. This was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway with the gal pals. we spent most of our time out and about in Austin. The house was perfectly located between our entertainment venues, a 5-10 minute uber in an direction. The house was clean, cozy, and ready for our stay; there are plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms to spread out. Very close to Zilker Park. Also, who needs a pool when Barton Springs is right down the road! Thanks Lori!
