This was our second stay and we had an even better time this year. The owner's cousin manages the property and she was very responsive and helpful when some thunderstorms cut power to about 500 houses in the area for about 3 hours. The home is fully stocked w kitchen essentials, beach towels, and lots of boat/beach gear in the shed. We rented a 10-person pontoon boat and had no problems docking it - the dock and the beach are beautiful, flat, and so very accessible. The road between the beach and house is basically a glorified cull de sac road, with infrequent traffic. the A/C was great and was a perfect place for a fun extended family vacation.

Beautiful lake house!

We have rented several homes on Canandaigua lake and this one is by far our favorite! We have returned many consecutive summers now. Home and property are beautiful!

It is impossible to come up with anything slightly negative to say. Dock is great for diving and swimming for both children and adults and an easy walk from the house. There is plenty of seating at the beach along with paddle boards and a kayak along with life vests and noodles for kids. It is a great gathering place with plenty of seating both inside and on the deck outside. The outside deck seating is extremely comfortable and provides a great view of the lake and sunsets. There is plenty of parking, including main floor level in rear which allows for easy unloading of supplies. there is a lot of disappointment with all family members that we will be unable to return in 2027.

Beautiful comfortable home w Perfect Lakefront

We would definitely stay at this home again. This was a perfect place for our 3 generations of family members (70s down to 8 yrs old). We loved how well it was equipped, the easy walk out to the lake, and the amazing new dock which we used for our pontoon rental. The swimming was weed-free and great for our little ones and adults alike and we loved finishing each day with a lakeside campfire. The owners were exceedingly responsive - which was helpful when fluke severe storms knocked out power across much of the county/region - to help with our needs. The home felt much larger than the pictures showed. Great A/C and modern baths. Loved the wraparound deck and very comfy furniture. Thanks for a great stay

FANTASTIC LAKE HOUSE

We all agreed that this lake house is fantastic. The kitchen was well stocked with any pans, casseroles, etc. that were needed. There is ample interior living room area for sitting and dining and it is very comfortably furnished. There are not a lot of objets d'art around about which to be concerned. The wraparound deck is very well done with ample room and furnishings for eating outside as well as relaxing in the swivel chairs which were a big hit with everyone. The “beach” area is easily accessible from the house and has plenty of chairs available in the storage shed. A kayak and two paddleboards were fun additions. The road between the house and beach is a nonissue for youngsters as most of the traffic is joggers and dog walkers with an occasional slow-moving vehicle.

Beautiful Lakefront Home

This house was beautiful, and not your typical rental home. This house was a perfect fit for our group of 10! It was spotless and had everything you could want in a rental! The location was perfectly set between two bigger cities with plenty of family friendly activities. The fishing was not what we expected however it wasn't for lack of trying. I would definitely recommend renting this property. The hosts along with Ron were very happy to help and gave great advice! We look forward to returning in the future.

Family Getaway

An ideal property for families! We enjoyed lots of bike rides and walks along the road given it wasn’t a busy street and the kids loved to be able to wade into the shore of the lake. The expansive deck and seating areas made for fun family dinners and great views. We had 2 boats and the dock was perfect for both to park. Certainly we weren’t used to a rental being so well stocked that we overpacked plenty for the kitchen given it had a lot of what we needed. Can’t wait to come back!

Best family getaway ever!

The entire family agreed that this was the best getaway we’ve had! And we also agreed that the accommodations and location of this property contributed greatly to a wonderful week. The property was nicer than the pictures showed and had everything we needed - the kids and grandkids had fun with the kayak and paddle boards! Plenty of room to spread out and we were able to eat out on the expansive deck every day. This property may be hard to get, but will be worth your shuffling your schedule to rent! Left an inexpensive but sentimental item behind but was promptly sent to us after a quick phone call - thanks Ron! Fantastic!
