Lovely cottage in central location

The cottage was clean and comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for weeks stay. We were impressed that the driveway was large enough to get the car in. The cottage is in a good location for the supermarkets, town centre and the beach. All a 5-10 minutes drive away. The only improvement we can think of is renewing the small BBQ which was a bit wobbely when we were using it. We are looking forward to another visit to the cottage in 2020. Thanks again for the use of you cottage Linda & Andy Paterson

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, ordentlich und perfekt ausgestattet. Die Zimmer und Schlafmöglichkeiten sind gemütlich und bequem. Ein Pluspunkt für die zusätzliche Toilette, die toll ausgestattete Küche sowie die Möglichkeit der in der Garage zur Verfügung gestellten Freizeitaktivitäten wie z.Bsp. Fahrräder und Strandzubehör. Der Strand Les Dune des Sables (L’Aubraie) war mit dem Rad nur 15Min. entfernt. Hier kann man einen fantastischen Sun Downer erleben.Da es sich nachts ganz gut abgekühlt, haben wir die nicht vorhandene Klimaanlage nicht vermisst. Wir hatten eine tolle Woche Les Sables D‘Olonne.

Proche des plages et des Sables d Olonne. Parfait pour une famille ( jusqu’à 6) nous avons passé un très agréable séjour.

Location excellente. Tout est prévu comme chez soi.Nous étions 3 adultes mais pour ceux qui ont des enfants en bas age, il y'a aussi tout ce qu'il faut.Par contre il faut absolument une voiture, aucun commerces de proximité pour faire quelques courses à pied.Le propriétaire est très réactif en cas de problème et nous y avons bien supporté la chaleur à l'intérieur malgré qu'il n'y ait pas de climatisation.

vacances enfamille

une bonne adresse. petite maison fonctionnelle proche de la plage et des commerces Quelques petits points à ameliorer cependant. Manque un lave vaisselle surtout pour les familles Le lavabo de la salle de bain est quand meme trop petit Mais sinon tout y est

Merci pour votre avis. Je suis désolé que nous n'ayons pas de lave-vaisselle, mais nous n'avons jamais annoncé qu'il en avait un? De plus, le lavabo de salle de bain est un lavabo de taille standard, alors peut-être êtes-vous habitué à des lavabos plus grands que la moyenne dans votre maison?

Formidable séjour

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié de séjourner dans cette maison ravissante à la jolie décoration. Il y règne un calme olympien. La literie est très bonne. Point de chute idéal pour decouvrir les alentours des Sables. Excellente communication avec le propriétaire. Nous reviendrons

Les Hirondelles

A quiet property backing onto "les salines" where you could walk out to from the house. The house was ideally located for a visit into Sables and day trips to the fantastic Atlantic beaches especially at Plage de Sauveterre. There are 3 large supermarkets within a 5 minute drive. The house is extremely comfortable and very well equipped. An improvement could be the installation of WiFi. We enjoyed our breakfast in the back courtyard every morning along with hundreds of shallows soaring overhead. Communication with the owner was easy and they provided a very comprehensive welcome itinerary....

Détente au milieu des marais à 3kms de la mer

Agréable location, spacieuse et literie confortable. Prévoir les vélos pour se balader aux alentours, découvrir les marais ou se rendre à la plage. La terrasse à l’arrière a été très appréciée. Petit bémol, un lave-vaisselle serait le bienvenu…

Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Quartier très calme. Une grande zone commercial est à même pas 5 minutes de la maison(Qui est géniale d’ailleurs). La description est conforme au logement. Le seul bémol, pas de cafetière électrique! Sinon rien à redire pourtant nous avons eu mauvais temps également!!!!

Excellente location

Bien située. Calme. Reposante. Cependant je me permets quelques critiques: Terrasse trop éloignée de la cuisine. Cuisine trop ancienne et équipements mal entretenus. Casseroles piquées, bouilloire rouillée Couverts pas très nets. Evier trop ancien et sale. Dans la salle de bains il manque des support pour affaires de toilette. Pas de tapis de bain. Colonne du lavabo non fixée.

La maison était parfaitement propre à notre arrivée ce qui est un très bon point. Le lieu quand à lui est passable surtout avec le mauvais temps les activités étaient plus que réduites… Le manque d’un lave lave vaisselle commence à se faire sentir surtout lorsqu’il y à 5 occupants… La maison était très humide. Nous avons du écourter notre séjour d’une semaine, vu que pour occuper les journées les idées étaient à cour. Je pense que lorsque le temps si prête et en choisissant une semaine plus tôt que deux cela aurait été beaucoup mieux.

Malheureusement, le temps est hors de notre contrôle. Vous saviez également qu'il n'y avait pas de lave-vaisselle avant de faire la réservation.

Maison tranquille

Nous avons passe 15 jours dans cette maison. Elle se situe dans un environnement tranquille et calme. Une terrasse sympa pour manger et un garage immense qui a permis aux enfants de s’amuser les jours de pluie. Vélos ou voitures obligatoires pour les courses ou la plage. De belles choses à voir dans les environs. Le seul hic pour nous a été le manque d’internet, car tous les opérateurs ne sont pas bien captés au niveau de la maison, même orange les mauvais jours a eu du mal à passer. Une maison familiale pour des vacances tranquilles

Fantastic gîte in a great location

The house/gîte is clean, tidy and very spacious (especially as there were only two of us). The kitchen has all the facilities that you will need, the living room has plenty of space despite accommodating a large dining table, the bathroom is clean and has a shower that works! Also, there are two toilets which is very handy. There is lots of useful stuff dotted around the house. We used the windbreaks from the garage and also the BBQ equipment that is stored there, for a BBQ on the rear terrace (cleaning it afterwards and replacing the charcoal and fuel that we used). The location is tremendous. A few minutes to Les Sables by car, supermarkets a few minutes away in several directions and the cycle path (turn right out of the front door) to the fantastic beach, up through the pines, is lovely (about 1 km away). Note that bathing is not allowed on this beach and you will need to walk a couple of miles up the coast to La Plage des Granges where the rocky coastline breaks up a bit. It's a beautiful walk, but we drove there (about 15 minutes) most days. It's also dog-friendly, but don't let that put you off, it's very clean. A great house in a lovely area.

Gorgeous house in a glorious location.

This home has everything to make a holiday stress-free and relaxed. The road is effectively a cul-de-sac (so there is no through traffic) which leads to a wide choice of paths for walking and cycling along the canal and through the forest to the beach, with a couple of very impressive restaurants, cycle hire and canoe hire within a 10 minute stroll. Unlike some properties, it is not stranded kilometres from anywhere: Les Sables d'Olonne is just a few minutes away by car and there is plenty of entertainment within a short distance. The house is very easy to keep clean and decorated to a high standard.
