Perfect Place to Stay with Multiple Couples

The home was very nicely finished, nicely furnished, very comfortable and spacious. We had 4 separate couples which was perfect with the house that has 4 bedrooms and each bedroom with its own private bathroom. Would definitely stay here next time we are in Telluride.

Amazing stay!

This home was perfect! Very clean, and fully stocked with anything one would need for a comfortable stay. Very short walk to drop right in on a run for a great day of skiing or boarding. Would highly recommend, and we will definitely be back!

Positively Delightful!

A group of us stayed for a handful of weeks both working and exploring with the house as home base and it exceeded expectations. Each room is a lovely size and the kitchen is wonderful and fully stocked. Would highly recommend - particularly if you are using it for a flexible work schedule, it works great.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The only problem I encountered was that in the front yard there was a construction site with toilets and bug trucks that partially blocked the view to mountains and also there were workers so we preferred not to go outside to the balcony or use the jacuzzi. It would have Ben nice if we had been informed about it. Once the construction is finished it will be great.

WARNING overcharged me $5000!!!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Until I called them, they would have never even acknowledged that they overcharged me $5000! No apologies. Zero accountability. Got to the house and the hot tub water was BROWN. Two members of our group got folliculitis from it. The back door to the house didn't lock. No soap for dishes. Had to ask them 3 times to separate the king bed into twin beds. Internet did not work. It's not a ski in or out the lift is a mile away. It's obvious the property management company doesn't even look at the properties because they told us only 2 cars could fit, when 4 can. A ton of stress with this company. NEVER using them again.

Ashlee, we are so disappointed to see such a review of this property and your experience. But I think there are some very clear misrepresentations and I'll take the time to clarify. You were not overcharged $5,000.00 - As we explained our credit card processor made a double charge, this was out of our control and that charge was refunded immediately, and I personally apologized profusely for the issue. We also serviced the hot tub prior to your arrival and if it were in such condition as you state, why wouldn't you ask for it to be looked at or serviced? Our maintenance person had to drain, disinfect and refilll the tub after your departure. The house has a double garage for two cars and when you notified us of bringing two additional cars (4 in total), we instructed you to park the extra two cars at the gondola parking station, the HOA does not want cars parked outside of the properties or blocking access for neighboring properties. On your day of arrival, you texted me at 4a.m. asking for an early arrival and I responded at 4 a.m. to your text letting you know the house needed to be cleaned and tested before we could let you in, but you called and texted others in my office and this was totally uncalled for. First texting at 4 a.m. and then messaging others with your same request. Then, you arrived early and still asked it you could go in the house. Ashlee, our experience with you as a guest was not good.

Great property, shady management

We enjoyed the house, its amenities and the location very much and would recommend it. The kitchen was nicely equipped and the fireplaces and steam showers in the bedrooms a plus. The dining area could use a nicer table and more chairs. The Management company (Vivid Vacation Rentals) however is very shady. Upon our arrival on 1/22/22 we were informed that they were short on towels and that the hot tub was unusable until maintenance will get there on Monday morning because “it must have gotten used a lot” before our arrival. Even though the hot tub was one of the reasons we rented the house, we agreed not to have access to it for 2 days. We were promised more towels the next morning, but the towels didn't arrive until Wednesday. We finally got into the hot tub on Monday evening and noticed that the water was cloudy, but we're just happy to finally have it available after a long day of skiing. We also noticed that the vinyl headrests of the hot tub were disintegrating and releasing thin flakes of the material into the water. The flakes sometimes attached themselves to our bodies, but we just dealt with it. 5 of us used the hot tub daily after skiing for about 30 minutes. We go on a yearly ski trip and that's our modus operandi and never had an issue with any of the previous properties we rented. We checked out on Sunday 01/30/2022 on time and left the place clean. Later that day we received a notice from management informing us that we were charged extra for our “misuse of the hot tub” which they unwittingly stated was “drained/cleaned and refilled …just prior to [our] arrival.” When confronted with the evidence, however, they corrected themselves that in fact it was serviced about a week prior to our arrival. They also charged us for alleged overuse of towels and linens and a broken chair, but later dropped these claims and refunded part of the overcharge. They claim that we caused the clogging of the filter with debris and hair with required emergency service. In reality, it was the vinyl fakes of the headrest that clogged up the filter. All these allegations were absurd, but they immediately charged the credit card on file without authorization to do so. We are still fighting with the management company and involved the credit card company to receive our money back. If you rent this property, go around and film everything and make sure they come regularly to maintain the hot tub, or you will be charged additional bogus fees.

Hi Dan, Thanks for making time to review your stay at our home. We contacted you on your day of departure and alerted you to the condition in which you left the hot tub. You misrepresent that the debris in the hot tub is or was from the hot tub cushions. As I explained to you, the filters were clogged with hair and the filters had to be replaced. As a precaution, we drained, disinfected and refilled the hot tub due to the water quality you left the hot tub in. Dan, I shared videos and photos with you. We have photos and records of service to support this. But the short fact is, you and your guests absolutely misused, overused and abused the hot tub and we responded quickly and efficiently and did everything in our ability to limit the additional costs for repair. The property was stocked and prepped as it was supposed to be prior to your arrival, we simply made the comment that we had additional linens for the property that needed to be delivered and that you okayed to be delivered; but your party used ALL of the backup bath linens that are stored in a closet that guests have access to, but we've had not issues like this with a previous guest - You used two full sets of bath linens for the home - this is/was excessive - but we didn't charge you for that overuse, nor did we charge you for the additional cleaning required to the interior of the property. Nor did we charge you for the adirondack chair that was broken during your stay. In fact, we were able to resolve the issues with the hot tub internally, which saved you hundreds of dollars in additional repair costs. I'm not sure where the thought process comes from that you rent a private home and rack up additional cleaning and repair costs and then think since you're on vacation, that you're also on vacation from being responsible or accountable, but evidently, this is how you conduct yourself. You were charged an reasonable and defendable damage amount and thanks to my team, we were able to credit you monies. I would think a "shady" company would've just made up reasons to hold onto those funds, but we did not. We're not in the business of making false allegations about our guests. We LOVE our guests and we're passionate about hosting guests. And we are also in the position to protect our homeowner's incredible valuable asset and for that, I'm happy to write this response. Wish you the very best.

Stunning View & cabin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived for our stay at dark and had no idea the stunning mountain view that awaited us. Everything was amazing from day one. The heated tile floors, the comfy beds, the fire places, and the well stocked and upscale kitchen, it was all a dream. The hot tub was amazing as well. We arrived at dark and they left the lights on and a humidifier going for us to help combat the dry mountain air. This is a must stay in home, and really close to the town of Telluride but still in the mountains. Everything about this place was amazing and A accomidations.

Spectacular view from the deck!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was set up great for our four couples that stayed for a week. Plenty of space to hang together or be in your own space. The kitchen was great and had pretty much everything we required to prepare meals and dine together. Beds were comfortable for everyone and bathrooms were great. The only two comments heard from the others were the lack of some deadbolts on doors, as we were asked to make sure all doors were locked. And, the small bedroom upstairs has way to much furniture for the room and was hard to maneuver around the bed. We did enjoy the hot tub and the view from the deck. All in all, we had a great time!

Great kitchen!

Great kitchen with everything a foodie would need to make an epic mountain meal. Everything is labeled and easy to step into as if it were your own home. The management company does a great job ensuring you have everything you need. Multiple steam showers and patio hot tub are fantastic after a winter day of skiing. Not exactly ski in/out without a significant hike up the road but it is a five minute drive to the gondola parking garage and grocery store. Four private bedrooms are nice, each with its own bathroom. One has only a tub and the other only has a pull out couch where another bed would have been appreciated but photos accurately depicted the property. Living room and kitchen are actually more spacious than photos portray. The fireplace in the living room is large and warms the whole space. Satellite TV and high-speed wifi in every bedroom is another welcome surprise.
