Lovely, spacious studio (350 square ft) in a special location just steps from the Champs de Mars and Eiffel Tower. Located on the first floor (second floor United States) of a 19th century Parisian building, our pied-a-terre has been tastefully renovated to offer modern amenities without sacrificing Parisian charm. Included are cable TV, phone (free calls to US), and wireless internet.
Step out the French doors onto an amazing terrace overlooking leafy Avenue Suffren. Enjoy a wonderful view of the Eiffel Tower while enjoying your café or glass of vino!
Located in a chic and lively area, you will find a host of conveniences to help make your stay memorable. There is a great grocery and boulangerie next door, fromagerie around the corner, wine store across the street, cafes on the corner and lots of fabulous restaurants nearby (we have a great list).
Walk across the street to the park and you have the choice of three buses with direct service to Luxembourg Gardens, the Louvre, and the Champs Elysees. Two metro stops are within a couple of blocks.
Our previous guests have enjoyed our apartment for its ambiance, location, cleanliiness and attention to detail. We invite your to be our guests and trust you enjoy our spot as much as we do!

We love everything French. In 2001, we took our then 8 and 12 year old kids on sabbatical for two years, living in our favorite place in the world, The City of Light. Now, we divide our time between the Bay Area and Paris. We've got a great restaurant list and lots museum recommendations.
We were thrilled to find such a lovely spot so close to our favorite monument - the Eiffel Tower! And we knew that this fantastic apartment with such a large andcharming terrace was one of a kind. Step out the floor to ceiling French doors and enjoy the French street scene - and, of course, our fabulous view of the Eiffel Tower. When we renovated our apartment, we were committed to preserving its Parisian charm while adding modern amenities.
In the heart of the City - just steps to the Champs de Mars. Walk to the Seine, Museums, restaurants, shops, cafes, outdoor markets. The beauty of renting an apartment is you are able to relax and truly live like a Parisian.
This apartment was perfect for me and my husband. It is a block or two from the Eiffel Tower, walking distance to all of the Paris sights that we visited. There is a coffee maker for the morning so we had coffee each morning then grabbed a bite to eat at the bakery two buildings away. At night we were able to relax on the balcony and rest alone after a long day of people. (The bakery has quick meals for dinner too.) The restaurant on the corner of the street, La Petite Suffren, was very good and enjoyable. The Paris bikes are also right in front of the apartment and a small grocery store next door. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment had everything that we needed.
The owners were wonderful. This was our first experience with VRBO and it was great! I would rent this same apartment if we return to Paris. I actually want to live in Paris now that I have visited it.
For starters, owners Jim and Lori were awesome. They took care of all the details and made the process of renting very easy; if you haven't rented a vrbo.com property before, you're in luck, the owners of this property will make you ask yourself why you haven't tried a vacation rental before!
So now that we have established a 5 star rating for the owners, let's move on to the property itself. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! The apartment is conveniently located to almost everything you are going to need for a Paris vacation. Examples? Let’s start with the leisurely 5 minute walk to the base of the Eiffel Tower. How about a 10 minute stroll to two different Metro stops (Green line) that will connect you to any tourist attraction in Paris. Four restaurants, a grocery store, souvenir store, bakery, pharmacy and multiple retail stores are all located within ½ block of the apartment. Taxi wait time was max 5 minutes, anytime, any day. If you're thinking about taking a "Hop on Hop off" bus tour (highly recommend by the way), the Eiffel Tower pickup spot is located on the main street between the Seine River and the Tower just a 5 minute walk from the front door of the apartment. The location is amazingly convenient and you can't help to feel like a local Parisian, if for only for a few days or weeks! As a bonus the apartment has a lovely 2nd story terrace that we used for coffee in the morning and simply relax during the day or evening (of course we never tired of the Eiffel Tower lighting up each night to keep us company!). NOTE: to confirm all the conveniences mentioned in this review, just Google Map the address and check it out!
There are really no negatives for this property. Clean and well maintained. WiFi worked great too. All details were as advertised in the property profile on the website. We highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try something different from typical and predictable “hotel lodging.” If you have to have a vacation with an on-site spa, bell clerk, house keeping and valet parking, well... we wish you the best and thank you for not getting in the way of our next reservation at Avenue de Suffren!
I could not have asked for a more charming and practical residence. The listing described the apartment with spot-on accuracy. The immaculately maintained property was equipped with more than ample amenities. The thoughtful owners supplied everything needed to enjoy an easy and restful visit including kitchen cupboards filled with household essentials.
I was equally impressed with the location. Only a few steps from a fabulous patisserie and a plentifully stocked fresh food market, I enjoyed leisurely meals on the petite terrace feeling very indulged. Fine restaurants, public transportation, both bus and Metro, and cultural attractions were well within walking distance.
I took in the most amazing view of the Eiffel Tower every day from the beautiful French casement windows. The stunning iconic wonder peers over Avenue de Suffren rooftops from its location just a few blocks from the apartment. The experience made me feel like a true Parisienne. I cherish my first visit to Paris and it fixed firmly my desire to return and stay at this residence again and again. It is a gem of a find!
We have had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful little apartment literally blocks from the Eiffel Tower for the past several years. For us, it's the perfect spot. There's a wonderful Boulangerie downstairs that makes the best croissant in Paris along with a tiny market that supplies all of our needs. You also have two very nice restaurants within 50 yards of your front door. In the evening, it's so nice to sit on the balcony enjoying a glass of wine. Many top sights are within walking distance, such as the Eiffel Tower, Trocadero, Invalid, Ecole Militare, and the Seine. There are city bike rental racks just outside of your door and bus and taxi stands within a three minute walk. Metro locations are a little further, but it is such a pleasant walk we don't even think twice of it. Another plus is the very dependable internet access. We love to call this studio our "home" in Paris.
The apartment is very nice, small and clean. My only complaint is it isn't where it says it is on the VRBO map. I emailed VRBO after discovering the discrepancy and was told it is the owners responsibility to put the pin in the map. Frustrating. Much farther southwest.
A studio apartment , which is pleasant, clean and comfortable and as the French would say 'tres agreeable'.
Good lighting and comfortably warm in January. A calm and quiet neighborhood with few tourists. Sorry to be there the wrong season to enjoy the large terrace. I would definitely return to this apartment and recommend it.
