Artfully Decorated 2Br Condo With Air Conditioning

Bedrooms & loft are carpeted. Living room, dining area & kitchen floors are wood laminate. Ceramic tile in the front entry & downstairs hallway which is heated.

Bedrooms, laundry (washer and dryer) and bathroom downstairs with kitchen, living room, and spiral staircase leading to upstairs loft upstairs. Sliders from the living room open to a covered deck which has a gas grill, table and chairs and fabulous mountain views.

Living room features a Frigidaire 13,000 BTU Portable Conditioner (a must have in Tahoe because of the unusually hot summers, smoke & pollen), wood burning fireplace, leather recliner, leather sleep sofa, 40" flat screen TV with external HDMI cable (Playstation/Wii hook-up) & USB port (Roku or Chromecast connectivity for Netflix, etc.), DVD, VCR, stereo with external auxiliary input (iPod, phone, etc.), wireless internet connectivity and a Monochrome Laser Printer (Brother Model HL-L2315D) to print wirelessly from Apple, Android or Windows devices. High speed internet supporting video streaming, Zoom calls & other bandwidth needy applications.

Dining room offers seating for six. Fully-equipped kitchen features oven/range, microwave, and dishwasher and a counter bar with seating. Also provided is a crockpot, hot air popcorn maker, blender & ice crusher for slushies.

Complex features a seasonal swimming pool, sauna, and tennis courts. There's one assigned parking space directly in front of unit & visitors spots located throughout the complex. There's also oversized parking on a first come first served basis for watercraft trailers, RV's & large pick-up trucks.

Short drives to downtown Tahoe City (2 minutes), Alpine Meadows (10 minutes), Squaw Valley (15 minutes), Homewood (20 minutes), casinos (30 minutes) and Northstar (30 minutes). The Lake Forest Boat Ramp is less than 2 miles away.

Public Lake access across the road: Skylandia Park/Pier; Lake Forest's Bristlecone Beach; Pomin Park & Playground and year round Boat Launch.

Ski areas Alpine Meadows (~6 miles), Squaw Valley (~9 miles), Homewood (~8 miles), Northstar (~13 miles), Diamond Peak (~15 miles), Mt Rose (~22 miles), Heavenly (~37 miles) & Sugarbowl (~30 miles). Tahoe Cross Country Ski Area (~1 mile).

Randy was an amazing host, taking care of everything, making suggestions where to watch fireworks, even updating us on the weather forecast.The property is conveniently located, close to several beaches, close to restaurants, yet in the quiet forest.Will stay here again.

Wonderful stay

Great Condo Close to Tahoe City

Our family of three stayed here, and we loved how close we were to the lake and Tahoe City. My son would get up every morning and run beautiful trails and never get bored. We also enjoyed being close to the restaurants, grocery store, and shops in Tahoe City. The condo had everything we needed including a washer/dryer and stocked kitchen. We saw snow in June and also 80 degree temperatures and the condo was a comfortable place to come home to every night.

Enjoyed our stay!

Nice place in Tahoe City among the pines with beautiful wild flowers as you enter the grounds. Pool is warm and had fun playing tennis. Owner Randy very responsive and helpful to answer a couple questions I had. Good access to all the beauty and recreation of North Tahoe. Thanks Randy, and God bless you...we enjoyed our stay!

Good Location

The place was spaceous. Enjoyed my meals on the balconey. The pool was at an amazing comfortable temperature. Saw people playing pickleball at the tennis courts. What a great idea.

A very good place to stay

It is in a great location, & has all of the amenities I wanted. Only I would think twice next time because I am in my 80s. There are a lot of stairs, & I could not open the dumpster.

Perfect all around

We decided to go to Tahoe a few days before we booked. This condo was ready to go. It’s close to everything! Safeway and downtown Tahoe City is 5 minutes away. Beds are comfy and kitchen is well stocked. Great little deck for morning coffee. Owner was very responsive. Enjoyed our 4 night getaway. Thank you!

Dollar point jewel.

Lovely multi-level townhouse in Dollar point. Honestly the pictures don’t do the place justice. Really nice comfortable place to stay. Very comfortable beds, modern furniture, and fully stocked kitchen. Heater worked great plus a fireplace. Parking spot 20ft from door is a bonus. 1 mile from Tahoe city and easy drive to Palisades. Owner was quick to respond to my request to extend our trip by a day. Very accommodating. Would stay here again for sure.

Perfect

Property was easy to get to, clean and well stocked with the basics everyone needs. Small things like sandwich bags, spices, aluminum foil, etc. were all taken care of. Another one of my small things that make a difference when staying at a VRBO are the chef knives, I was pleasantly surprised to find quality knives that were sharp and no glass cutting boards. Would highly recommend this listing and location for skiing and closeness to the lake and Tahoe City .

Lovely property for a short getaway

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay for our 25th anniversary. Communicating with Randy was flawless (which is such a positive change than dealing with national property management groups, like Vacasa, who are a nightmare). Very close to Tahoe City, which is simply charming, and not overrun like other Tahoe spots. Beautiful deck that looks out into pure greenery-- gorgeous and relaxing. A very short walk to community pool (which was empty) and not a far walk to the Lake Forest Beach area and Tahoe trail. Things to note-- Technically, this home probably sleeps 7, but that would be really tight, as there is only one bathroom (with toilet and shower in the same room) and a relatively small living room/dining area. You are also close to the main Lake Boulevard, and you can hear traffic through the open windows (we stayed in summer). Narrow stairs up to the loft, which might be treacherous for either very young or very old people.

Felt like it was my personal vacation home

Randy's place was fantastic. The furnishing was top notch. The beds were very comfortable. The place was well stock with all of the essentials. The AC was a blessing. With no fault to Randy, the place had no breeze so there was no air moving inside the place. I felt bad leaving the AC on but the little AC unit did an amazing job keeping the place cool. I actually felt like it was my personal vacation home and it exactly how we would have decorated it. We will be here again no doubt about it.

Great Condo in Tahoe City

We had a great time in the Lake Tahoe area. We loved the condo's location - quiet, but a short walk/drive to downtown Tahoe City, which has everything you need. The condo is also very comfortable and well-appointed, and there are a few really nice touches, such as a gas grill and washer/dryer inside the unit. I would stay there again!

Another pleasant stay

This was the second time we stayed, and just like last year, everything was nice, with the added benefit that the living room area was redone. Only the mattresses in the mezzanine are a bit on the soft side. Ok for kids, but adults would likely find it too soft to support their back. Given it's our second time here, you can see that we like the place.

Perfect for our ski weekend

Randy's place was ideal for a friends ski weekend at Palisades - a working kitchen (which admittedly we didn't actually use), a small outdoor patio, a bed for each adult, and solid wifi to get some work done/stream a movie. Wish there was a hot tub available, but the actual condo itself was perfect!

Convenient, clean & comfortable

Very nicely appointed condo, close to the lake just outside Tahoe City., about 2.0 min from major ski resorts. Well stocked with all household, kitchen, and toiletry items one could want (including a year’s supply of TP in the event there is another run on the stores.) My son and his friend loved the loft area where they camped out and played video games on the TV below. The wood burning fireplace was great for relaxing après-ski.. We only had 3 of us due to some changes in plans, but there are enough beds/futons for up to 8 people ...only downside would be sharing the one bathroom.

I purchased the condo in October of 2000 & immediately went to work painting, updating & decorating to make my vacation dream a reality. I moved in for ~ a year in a half, before returning to the city. Since that time, I've used it exclusively for myself & my family except for a couple of years of selective renting on VRBO. So if this looks familiar, it's our second go-around on VRBO.

I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

This is a very clean, artfully decorated, comfortable condo. All the major appliances have been updated, including new windows, siding & roof on our recently completed associating renovation project.

What makes this property unique

Great location. Awesome view of the mountains from the deck. Short walk to Skylandia Beach, US Coast Guard Station, boat ramp & downtown Tahoe City. Air conditioner which is a must have in Tahoe during the summer.
