Si buscas un hogar cómodo y que acepte mascotas, a poca distancia de la playa, este es el lugar perfecto para ti. Una casa de tres dormitorios con el tercer dormitorio para las familias que buscan un "retiro" para los adolescentes o "escaparse" de los abuelos o dos familias que desean pasar las vacaciones juntas.

Cocina nueva y moderna, con electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable y un horno independiente de grado comercial. Un gran comedor soleado y muy cómodo, sala de estar con aire acondicionado. Desde la sala de estar, puede extenderse a la cubierta secreta y admirar la vista de Trial Bay y el Parque Nacional Arakoon, mientras disfruta de una refrescante cerveza y una barbacoa en la gran barbacoa de gas de 6 quemadores.

El dormitorio principal tiene una cama queen, ventiladores de techo y un televisor, el segundo dormitorio también tiene ventiladores de techo, una cama trío, una cama individual y un colchón individual de repuesto. El tercer dormitorio tiene aire acondicionado, minibar, cama queen y un sofá cama individual.

Esta propiedad puede alojar hasta 9 personas.

El baño tiene una ducha y bañera separadas y el inodoro está al lado del baño.

La lavandería se encuentra afuera con una ducha y un inodoro separado (este es el segundo baño).

Walking distance to great things to do!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great property within walking distance of just about everything. The whales put on a show! If visiting in winter bring extra warm blankets or doonas as the ones supplied were very thin .There is an outside toilet and shower- not great, we didn’t use them. No bathroom in the granny flat but it was cozy.

Summer Salt was our ideal vacation house !

Coming from Ireland to visit relatives we were perfectly placed halfway to visit them and also head to the beach. Great comfortable beachy style house that was lovely for our family stay.

Home away from home

Very good location(short walk to shops and beach), good accommodation (the rug in the back room/annex (??) needs replacing as it is too dirty and smelly- actually better without the rug) and clean apart from the rug.

The House is great but some suggestions for improvement would be that the bathroom could do with an upgrade and it would be great if there was a dryer in the laundry. We normally go at Easter time - getting cooler and sometimes rain - if you can't dry towels etc it becomes problematic. It's a great pet friendly house and we like staying there a lot- have done for many years

Reviewer Comments: We loved staying at this beach house, with a lovely outlook and could even see whales with binoculars! Comfy beds, very modern kitchen 1950’s bathroom but plenty of hot water. This old house has a relaxing vibe and is so quiet at night. It is not fenced at the front so expect kangaroos at night. There is a great fully enclosed dog run with kennel at the back and we loved the fruit from the large avocado tree. There are steps up to the front door and the front driveway is not flat, so may not suit elderly. Many thanks for sharing your home.

pleasan location, charming house but in need of updating

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: we have been staying in this house yearly for seven years now so we have seen the little updates the owners have/have not done. As charming as the location is, the stovetop does not work, the washing machine does not work, the blinds are breaking or all together missing, the lights flicker or not come on for minutes at a time, the external power points when flicked on short the whole house out, and the granny flat has rats/mice in the roof ... and as lovely as the new couch, new dish washer and new plates are; this property is in dire need of an update.

Reviewer Comments: unfortunately the cleanliness was not upto scratch? the price point was very reasonable but if kept clean it would have been good value for money. highly recommend getting some good professional advice on interior decorating as that was all wrong and with a few simple changes the property could be such a nicer space to stay in for your vacation.

Great place but a few small issues

We had a great stay at Summer Salt. Just a short walk to shops and the beach, great view and the covered verandah is a lovely place to sit and take it all in. The sea breezes are awesome! My smallish dog could escape the dog area from under the “teenage retreat”, so would recommend checking that they have covered the area near the gate properly so there are no escapees! The “teenage retreat” is not attached to the house but is a separate “unit” in the backyard and the “second bathroom” is not in the house but in the laundry. Also “air conditioning throughout” is not entirely accurate - the system is in the dining room and does not reach the bedrooms on hot days. The buttons on the microwave are no longer readable so a bit frustrating trying ti work out how to use it! TV’s in the double rooms are ok as they are smart TV’s but TV in lounge room could do with an update.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spent 2 weeks in summer salt with 2 families, 4 adults, 4 children. The house is in a beautiful location and has alot of space. 1 bed room outside which could be updated in regards to mattress and slight stake smell but very convenient for two families with extra room. The other rooms were good, large size good storage, generally good beds, double bed on bunk bed could be updated comfort wise but other than that bedrooms good. Kitchen is grea good facilities and equipment provided, dining room good, hard to clean table due to the timber having big gaps but easily fits 2 families with added chairs, lounge room a great size, Single arm chairs comfortable, the larger lounge was not very comfortable with hard bits poking out, the rug was not clean we rolled up and put outside under cover until our stay was over due our children being on the floor alot. Outdoor showers and toilet so convenient and great to wash off after beach. Indoor bathroom is good size just could be updated or cleaned the indoor shower pressurehot/cold was hard to perfect but we managed. We love that the house is pet friendly great outdoor area for pets. We love the location of house walking distance to almost everything. The outdoor furniture was utilised alot and we enjoyed being outside. Overall we loved our stay, only thing we would suggest is a bit of a deep clean, as we cleaned upon arrival things we thought needed it. In saying that We would stay again definately.

These little things do make a big difference to your stay.Also just for others with a dog, I think if the backyard was fully fenced ie there are no gates on sides of the house, only the fenced off area up the back, it would be 5 stars, but if having a BBQ out the back, its a bit mean to lock them up behind the fenced off area.

Great place to stay

Fantastic, well equipped house close to town and the beaches. Enjoyed the yard and deck spaces, particularly in the morning when the sun streams in.

Wonderful Home with a great beach holiday vibe!

This is a great holiday property with everything you need for entertaining or relaxing. Bedding & lounge areas are comfortable, the kitchen is excellent; appliances were all fantastic quality & we loved cooking in the awesome stove. The ample beach paintings throughout the house also really add to the holiday vibe. The generous living spaces are awesome & means a large family can stay easily without feeling cramped. There were board games, books & binoculars that came in handy. The bbq & outdoor furniture on the balcony areas was also great, with candles around the handrails & the fire pit all adding a little extra atmosphere. The granny flat is nicely done & the dog area was great with good shade & a kennel. We had small dogs & had to buy a tether as they would fit through the fence gaps - but for a bigger dog its absolutely ideal. The air conditioners in both the home & granny flat are new & work excellently. The second bathroom outside is also in good condition & combined with the laundry. The hot water did run out if too many people had showers - so you just need to keep an eye on usage. The location is super as its within easy walking distance to the main part of town. If the stairs at the front of the house bother you, there is a side path you can take that leads to the back porch (handy for wheeling suitcases up into the house, or of you have a pram!). The real estate was super professional & friendly, I've previously used 2 other agents for letting of other properties in SWR & this house & agent has been my best experience yet! We really loved this home & enjoyed our stay & would highly recommend it to anyone. We'll be back again!

Great location

We had a wonderful stay. House was perfect very clean everything we needed was available. Easy walk to everything we did not need to use car. Which was great. We also hired our linen which was fantastic. On arrival all the bed had been made ample towels and all very clean. Would recommend both house and the hir8ng of linen. Great area for a holiday children friendly lovely beach great location.

Disapointed

This house looked amazing, however we were disappointed from the start. The whole house was dirty, especially inside the cupboards and the bathroom and laundry. There were used soap cakes and loafers left in the bathroom and dirty plates in the kitchen cupboards. The recently removed handrail from the stairs and part of the deck makes them extremely unsafe, hazardous, and non-compliant with Australian standards. Especially with young children. The hot water service is inadequate to handle 6 adults and the staff at Elders Real Estate were extremely unhelpful in addressing any of our concerns!
