We hope you and your loved ones make joyful memories filled with laughter, memorable moments, a restful and safe vacation at our place.
As we are given the honor of serving you, you have our commitment we’ll be ready to keeping close watch (virtually) and helping to adapt to your needs, and not the other way around. Anything less in my books will be unacceptable..
Whatever you do, wherever you go... we wish you the very best.

In 15 minutes from St Pete International Airport, you get to this Location.
The complex is only 3 miles away from beautiful Clearwater Beach which has been consistently and constantly rated as one of the Best Beaches in America.
The condo includes free Wi-Fi high speed 100 mbps Internet. It is conveniently close to Downtown St. Petersburg, Tampa, Dunedin and Tarpon Springs, areas of Florida which have lots of attractions and history.
Guests can enjoy long sunny days at the beautiful perfect beaches or by the heated pool in the complex. You can also take a 90 minute drive to the Orlando Theme Parks like Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and Sea-world.

Avalon at Clearwater complex is indeed only 15 minutes from St Pete’s International Airport, so very easy to find it and to feel instantly safe as Avalon is a gated complex with electronic key that will be provided.

This Condo is located on ground floor with no stairs to climb and your stay will be amazing as the condo includes:

• Free parking space: choose what is convenient for you
• Wi-Fi: in the Condo as well as at the Pool
• In Unit: Laundry and supplies
• Balcony: with chairs (+extra folding chairs) and small table

Amenities include a gorgeous, resort style swimming pool that is not crowded, BBQ area at the pool, gazebo, an elegant clubhouse with business center and internet access as well as a fitness center, all nestled between beautiful maintained court yards.

Clearwater Plaza, with Publix Supermarket and other Outlets Stores, is just across the street making the stay ideal and very convenient for daily necessities.

Also: Restaurant with terrace and yummy food is just in front of this complex.

Susan and Tim: Consistently fantastic guests! Another 5 stars for them, We are incredibly grateful that they chose us for a second visit and we are also grateful we'll host them again next year. They took GREAT care of our home away home. Once again they left the unit sparkling clean for future guests. We do not get to meet our guests always, but we briefly interacted this time and their kindness and friendliness are commendable. They will be forever most welcomed!

Nicholas was a great guest. Wishing he could have stayed longer: polite, super friendly and respectful at the same time. We would recommend him to any host. And look forward to perhaps hosting him again if he ever decides to visit Clearwater.

Cindy and Paul are fabulous guests. We do not have the opportunity to always meet our guests but this time, got to meet Cindy and loved, loved, loved her attitude..so very positive and friendly. We exchanged few personal details, a great encounter, glad to know her. At departure they they left the place in perfect condition. Any host would be lucky to have guests as them. I highly recommend having them as vacationers. I do hope our paths cross again.

Great stay

I had a great time in the days I stayed at the Avalon. Everything from the pool, gym and the room itself made me right at home. Carmen checked on me regularly and communicated affectively.

First of all we must acknowledge our wonderful hosts “Miss Carmen Sturzu and her husband Alex”……their main concern, for the 3 times we have dealt with them, has ALWAYS been our needs and whatever it was that assured us the best our vacation could be……and we appreciated that very much.Our unit from the moment we walked in was great. It was in immaculate condition and is the most completely supplied and really nicely furnished and comfortable place we’ve stayed out of all the places in Clearwater we’ve stayed. Perfect retreat

We stayed two nights and it was perfect for us. The condo is close to the ballpark so an easy drive to the game. It is a short drive to the beaches and the owner provides the chairs, towels and umbrellas for a day in the sun. There are very good local restaurants or a grocery store if you prefer to cook. We would definitely stay again.

Adam and Bozena were great guests. They treated our home with respect and had excellent communication during their stay. They left everything in great condition after checkout and we would be happy to have them back again. Highly recommended.

Enjoyable Florida stay

This was our first time at the Avalon and the owner Carmen was so helpful from the moment I started booking this beautiful place. Carmen and her husband are such fabulous people we arrived early and found them both in the condo finishing up. I would definitely recommend this place and any other place Carmen owns they are truly proud of what the rent. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect for me.

Property was perfect for me. Very clean all incidentals were provided unit showed owner pride and thoughtfulness. Location was perfect for my seminar easy drive to beaches. Owner was responsive to questions andcwelcoming. Would definitely stay again.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

This was a great place to stay and within only minutes from the beach without all the sand in your room. Close to Clearwater Beach, shopping, and good FOOD!!! We were given a cell phone number to text if we had any probelms or questions (very handy). Very clean place with everything you need just as if you were home! Loved the apartment, the view from the private balcony, and the pool! Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Thank you for your review Judy. In our defense, you gave us a 4 star for something we have no control over. We know for sure that the gates close at night, we are here now for vacation ourselves and this is happening. As for thefts, if nothing of yours disappeared, how can you make these accusations on our review. We always strive to accomplish all our responsibility as a host and I know I've stayed on top of things. Regardless: this is our review to you, prepared way in advance: " Judy and Tom were wonderful guests; we enjoyed them being in our home for 3 months. Judy is very personable and engaging; before and during the trip we stayed connected and they offered me "peace of mind" knowing them there watching over our apartment. They were very respectful of our home. We would welcome them anytime and recommend them as guests to any host."

Comfortable

This was the third Avalon unit that we have stayed in. We liked the fact that the unit is on the first floor. It was clean, comfortable, and Carmen was very helpful with the few questions that we had. This was a very pleasant 5 week stay. I highly recommend it.

Sweet Vacation Home!!

We loved our stay here. It was perfect for me and my two small daughters. The living room was very spacious, which you don't expect from a one-bedroom apartment. It was clean and well kept. It was very close to the beach! The community and pool was SO nice as were all of the people in the community. It also felt quiet and secluded eventhough it was an apartment complex. We would definitely stay here again. And we will be recommending this to friends! Loved our stay at Clearwater!!

Excellent Experience!

In honor of our son's graduation, our family decided to spend the New Year holidays in Florida. We rented this condo at the last minute, after another arrangement fell through, and the owners where extremely helpful and saved our vacation! The condo was a very short distance to Pier 60 and we were able to spend every day at the beach. The Condo itself was nice with everything you need to feel like you are at home. Alex and Carmen always responded very quickly to our inquiries, with detailed directions. We really enjoyed our stay!

Carmen is THE most excellent host-communication was wonderful & she is so friendly & helpful. The condo is superb & has EVERYTHING you could possibly need for your stay - down to shampoo, conditioner, detergent, dishwasher tabs, food wrap. We cooked a range of food with ease when not dining out.The condo is near enought to the pool to be handy but far enough to be quiet & our overall stay was very peaceful. The pool is fabulous - lovely and warm & the salt water is very kind to the skin. It was never crowded & at times had it all to ourselves. It was great for swimming lengths which is what my husband & I like to do. There is plenty of shade when the weather is very hot. My husband also enjoyed the gym, which was never crowded & good choice of equipment. The place is near to beaches & our favourite was Sand Key public beach only 5 miles away. It has toilets, showers, & a food trailer serving excellent coffee for 3! Park all day for only 6 If you are looking to stay at The Avalon please look no further than this great condo!

Rose and Gordon were wonderful, better said; PERFECT guests! We enjoyed having them at our place as Rose is very personable and engaging; before and during the trip we stayed connected and they offered me "peace of mind" knowing them there watching over our apartment. They were extremely kind and very respectful of our home, at departure they left the place spotless. We are grateful for their visit and welcome them anytime and recommend them as guests to any host, AWESOME couple.

Nieces Wedding

An excellent “Gated”, Safe location for the Wedding we attended and for visiting Family in the area and additional Family that traveled for the Wedding, too. Convenient to Publix Groceries, Gasoline, Our Place, Ted’s Luncheonette, Abe’s Restaurant’s and others. The Avalon’s location gave easy access in all directions. South to Fort De Soto Park, North to Dunedin and Honeymoon Island and West to Clearwater Beach, Pier 60 and South along the scenic Gulf to Treasure Island and even drove past the spectacular Don Cesar Resort. Good quality Hotels are nice but having much more privacy at this Condo at The Avalon was more like a well equipped Home to us than a Hotel, plus having private access to the Pool, Exercise Room, a Gated entrance and good parking spaces were all appreciated too. Carmen was great! Plans went smoothly,condo was very clean and fully stocked. We will definitely stay at this condo again! Thank you Carmen!

From the start I felt that Christine is an organized person, as the instructions for checking/checkout were read carefully and the entire process was a "breeze" - all smooth and perfect. All messages (virtually) gave us a well being feeling, cooperation, solidarity, willingness and we look forward to serving them again anytime. An honor hosting these wonderful people!

On a personal note, I was born in Romania, married my husband 25 years ago, and lived good years in Holland and Montreal. For nearly 20 years now, we’ve made Toronto our home. We love to travel, and have seen the world: Holland Belgium, Germany, Cyprus, Egypt, Panama, Bahamas, Venezuela, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Cuba, the US and all of eastern Canada… but really, there is no place like home with your family!
We have seen our fair share of hotels and Airbnb/Vrbo houses and can’t wait to “virtually” meet our fellow travelers and provide them with the same hospitality that we have been shown in many countries.
