Un lieu oĂč des dizaines d'invitĂ©s de plus de quinze États et de cinq pays ont crĂ©Ă© des souvenirs multigĂ©nĂ©rationnels sur Great Eastern, la plus longue piste de ski alpin adaptĂ©e aux familles de l'Est. Les nouvelles rĂ©novations (2019) incluent des appareils de cuisine et du granit, des meubles de salle de sĂ©jour, des revĂȘtements de sol, des dĂ©corations, une literie en mousse Ă  mĂ©moire de forme de luxe et plus encore.

Une retraite soigneusement planifiĂ©e de 4 maisons de ville sur 3,5 acres de terres boisĂ©es privĂ©es avec 200 pieds de façade directe sur le cĂ©lĂšbre Great Eastern Trail! Sautez par la porte arriĂšre de la tĂ©lĂ©cabine Skyeship (qui Ă©tait autrefois la plus longue tĂ©lĂ©cabine de ski du monde) et accĂ©dez aux six montagnes de Killington. Chaque maison de ville peut accueillir 6 personnes et dispose d'une cheminée à gaz, d'une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite, d'un sauna, d'un canapé-lit, d'une cuisine complÚte, d'un lave linge / sÚche-linge, d'un lit king-size et de deux lits jumeaux.

Spruce Glen occupe un emplacement central et pratique entre les pavillons principaux et Bear Mountain. La télécabine Skyeship est généralement ouverte de la mi-décembre au début avril pour permettre l'accÚs aux pistes de ski, lorsque le temps le permet.

Location, location, location

Right on Great Eastern trail so it was fun to ski down to the lift. The place was a little small for 5 adults and a dog but location was great. The renters in the 3 other units were friendly and added to the fun atmosphere. . 5 minutes drive to restaurants . Need better towels

Great little place!

Nice and clean and great location right off the trail. It’s a little small as advertised and it’s really one full bath and a half. But perfect for a single family. Clean and modern and will stay again!

Great location, but overpriced for the quality

There was no natural snow for our day of skiing, but the ski on/off trail was open thankfully for our use and the location on the trail is great. If we had stayed one more day, we would have actually been able to ski up to the back door since it snowed 9" that night. The power went out with the snowstorm that night and the owner was very responsive to our questions about the carbon monoxide alarm going off due to the power outage. This condo is overpriced for its condition and you are definitely paying for location. It needed a good deep cleaning with visible cobwebs in corners and kitchen cabinets that were filthy inside. I had to wash any kitchen utensil or pot/pan before using and could only find one small skillet I was willing to use that didn't look like a health hazard with all of the nonstick coating peeling off of it. There were also holes in the downstairs bathroom ceiling and walls waiting on repair and a dryer exhaust hose that was not connected to anything. With the number of people the place can sleep, there was a definite mismatch with only four seats at the kitchen table and only 2 mugs available. A sponge/dishrag was not provided for washing dishing (thankfully I had brought one) and the kitchen also needed additional towels for drying dishes. Skis and poles can be kept outside the back door, but there was nowhere inside to hang snowpants/ski accessories to dry. There needs to be more hooks in bathrooms as well for hanging towels.

Super convenient to slopes

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The house is super convenient to the slopes so it was nice to stop in for lunch and a break each day. The beds were comfortable, the house was pretty clean, and the house had everything we needed. Property manager was very responsive when we needed anything. Only three things to note that were a concern. We stayed in Unit D, which is a pet friendly unit. We don't have a dog, but because it is a pet friendly unit, you can expect to find dog hair on the couch and beds. Also, the pictures show a sauna, but there isn't one on site. And lastly, the driveway is not paved, so when it rains it gets really muddy. And when it snows the plows are not easily able to clear the snow. I would recommend 4wd vehicle if you go in the winter. Overall we would stay again, but would ask to stay in Unit A or B which are pet free units.

Great Location for Leaf Peeping

We went to leaf peep during peak in October. It was the perfect location to either hike the trails right behind the property or drive to Woodstock and Quechee. The property is as advertised and is both cozy and comfortable. They have all the necessary supplies in the kitchen. I would recommend this chalet to anyone for anyone on the fence.

Home Base

Was our first trip to Vermont and wanted a place that we could take day trips, This place was great for us. It was cozy and clean. The King bed was very comfy and the kitchen had all we needed. Check in and out was flawless and we had no issues at all. Would definitely rent again.

Great getaway

We were looking for someplace close to a wedding venue were attending and needed to bring our dog with us (we had newly adopted and did not want to leave her). Worked out great ! She quietly rested in her crate and we were only a few minutes away. Convenient walking trails helped out also!! Ryan was AMAZING...super responsive and accommodating.

Location, Location, Location

The most impressive part about staying in Spruce Glen is literally walking out through the backyard and setting your skis on the Great Eastern Trail. No jumping in the car, no parking lot, no shuttles; just click in and go, and you can ski right back when your day is over. The property is modest but well-kept. It was nice to have linens and towels provided, as well as most household supplies. There is plenty of dishware and glasses. The layout of the master bedroom is a bit challenging, especially for anyone remotely tall as there is a low-angled ceiling close to the bed. It would not hinder us from a future stay, but just something to watch out for. The host was responsive and pleasant when we needed some assistance. We appreciated the opportunity to take advantage of this ski in/ski out property!

Great location!

The location within a few yards of the trail is the best part of this property! Leaves more time for skiing and relaxing! Able to relax and eat breakfast rather than worry about packing up gear into the car to drive to the base. Then able to ski back for lunch and a quick break, then back out again. Would suggest having a full size frying pan - it was a challenge to cook without one. There was also an odor outside the unit that was really gross, but thankfully once we got inside and shut the door, it did not waft inside. We told Ryan about it and he was going to try to problem solve what that odor is. Overall, we will return for sure as long as the odor is gone!

Guests enjoy the largest private lot on Great Eastern (almost 4 acres) at a lower cost than home rentals and more seclusion than nearby condo villages.
