About Debbie MacCary

Debbie and Kevin MacCary first fell in love with Breckenridge when we were assigned to Ft. Carson, Colorado with the U.S. Army years ago. We now live in Castle Rock, Colorado and return to this amazing town as often as time allows to enjoy the four seasons that make the Rocky Mountains so unique. We don't use a management company and believe that fair and honest dealings with fellow vacationers is the best way to ensure that everyone benefits from the arrangement. Our family loves Breckenridge and are certain you will enjoy it as much as we do.

Debbie MacCary purchased this townhome in 2005

Why Debbie MacCary chose Northwest

Breckenridge is genuine Colorado. Whether you enjoy skiing, biking, kayaking, shopping, or simply getting away from city life, this incredible town is the ideal retreat. We bought and re-modeled this townhome so family, friends, and guests can experience what caused us to fall in love with this town in the first place. Village Point is a beautiful townhome complex with many full time residents enjoying the setting with vacationers. The heated paths keep the walkways perfect throughout the winter and the explosion of flowers in the summer make this the ideal vacation getaway.

What makes this townhome unique

It is such a relaxing and private retreat. Stress of daily life just melts away. Our location is fantastic, as we can walk to shops and restaurants, to the ski lift, to hiking trails, and to the ice arena!

Another great time in Breckenridge!

  • 5 of 5

This was our second time staying in this fabulous townhouse. It was clean, well-stocked and close to everything. We walked to Main Street every day with our 3 and 6 year-old kids who loved the walk past the small pond and stream. The beds are very comfortable and there are plenty of towels for showers and dips in the hot tub. We had 7 people in our party and had 3 more adults over for dinner one night and there was plenty of room for everyone to eat comfortably. As others have stated, the internet is slow, so if you need to work, it might be frustrating. But if you're there to relax, it's not a problem!

Spacious home

  • 5 of 5

This property was perfect for our family trip to the Breckenridge and the Rocky Mountains! So much room for our family with our kids having their own area on the first floor and us on the third floor! The home was clean and decorated nicely. Kitchen was modern and had everything we needed to cook basic meals. The hot tub was nice for the summer evenings. Areas of downtown were with in walking distance so walking to dinner or bike rental was easy. The only complaint we would have is that the internet was slow but honestly we weren't around that much that we found it too frustrating.

Great Value

  • 5 of 5

A group of us stayed here for a few nights during the peak of the fall colors up in the mountains above Breckenridge and we loved the visit. Debbie was very accommodating and helpful, and although our stay was not as long as I would have liked, this property was a perfect spot from which to stage our outdoor adventures! The area is wooded and quiet but close to main street and eating/drinking/shopping and there are trails to hike and bike around the mountains just outside the neighborhood. There is plenty of space in the condo, and the living room/kitchen area is awesome for groups. Having a nice toasty hot tub on the deck right there was super convenient as well. Nice furnishings and cozy beds as well. Highly recommended for excellent value in Breck.

Wonderful Town Home

  • 5 of 5

We had such a nice stay here! We were a group of 5 (4 Adults, 1 Child) and this town home was very spacious. It's nicely decorated and very clean. It's walking distance to Main St. and close to everything. The neighborhood was very quiet and the hot tub on the deck was great as well! We would absolutely stay here again.

Graduation vacation

  • 5 of 5

We wanted to tack on a vacation in Breck following our sons graduation from CSU and this property was perfect for two couples and my son. The home was comfortable and had plenty of space for all of us to be in the kitchen/living area at the same time. It's nice that the master suite is upstairs by itself and the two lower bedrooms each have their own bathroom. The hot tub was great and it was also nice having a washer/dryer in the unit. There were 5 of us and the house could have easily accommodated a larger family. Great location to town and a place I would definitely recommend!

Exactly what we were looking for

  • 5 of 5

This property struck the right note between easy access and a full compliment of features while still being reasonable price-wise. We stayed for an all-too-short weekend right after Breckenridge had unfortunately closed for the season but the drive to A-Basin was very reasonable and scenic in its own right. The walking proximity to the town can't be beat -- it's not too bad even being sore after a day of skiing. That said, the deck feels private and as if it were much further removed. We never saw another person the whole time we were there and the woods and softly falling snow made a great backdrop to the hot tub. Inside the living room has extremely comfortable chairs/sofas that were hard not to fall asleep in. The fireplace turns on with a flick of the switch and all of the appliances are new. Having the 2 master suites separated by 2 floors means there's plenty of privacy and then you just meet in the middle. My only suggestions would be to perhaps provide shampoo/conditioner in the bathrooms and check on the wifi signal as everyone in our party couldn't get it to reliably connect after following the instructions. All in all a great spot to stay comfortably for a weekend or longer and explore Breckenridge and Summit County. Thanks Kevin & Deb!

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your lovely comments. We really appreciate any feedback as we want our place to be very comfortable and pleasant for our guests. The reason we aren't able to provide shampoo and conditioner, nor laundry soap and propane, is because our cleaning service does not replenish these items and we don't live in Breckenridge, so we are unable to keep up with replacing these consumables, ourselves. As far as internet connection goes, we haven't received complaints before and I wonder if it was weather related. We will look into this, however, to make sure it is not a continuing problem. Thank you for the opportunity to address these issues, and again, thank you for the 5 star review! Please come again! Your Hosts, Debbie and Kevin MacCary
