We loved our stay so much that we booked another stay while we were still there. Beautiful location, views to die for, clean, comfortable, delicious breakfast food and a gorgeous meal on our first night which we had pre-ordered. We honestly can’t fault it.
A fantastic getaway spot. The restyled shearers' quarters are spacious, comfy and tidy with good, firm beds and a well appointed kitchen that includes treats and breakfast supplies provided by the hosts. The outside decking provides unfettered views along the Ida Valley to the Hawkdun Range. We spent most of our weekend sitting on the deck watching the light play across the landscape. This place is a hidden gem.
Just the sort of accomodation that i wish for, country shearers quarters done up impeccably. Quiet, outstanding views, lots of photography taken later in the day as the colours got better and better. Beautiful welcome afternoon tray plus a real good breakfast. Amazing selection of wines to buy. Fantastic to meet phillipa and al and the treat was drafting in the morning. Thanking you so much, i will definitely be back. Cheers tracey
