There's a half bath on the main floor off the laundry room. There's also a Pak N' Play and a booster style high chair for littler guests.
The kitchen is roomy and open to the dining and living rooms. It has plenty of storage and a large island with seating for four. The dining room seats six with room to spare and has fantastic views of Mt. Hood and the Valley. The living room features a gas fireplace, a 55" flat screen television, and double glass doors to the front deck. There's WiFi throughout the house. Beds were comfy, kitchen was better stocked than any other VRBO I have been to, and the view of Mount Hood could not be beat! Had a most wonderful stay!
This home is amazing!Great communication,Spectacular views, big beautiful kitchen fully stocked, cozy living room with warm fireplace, comfortable beds, close to town, and just off the Fruit Loop. Will stay again for a longer time.
Amazing is an understatement. Ziphaus is prefect. Location is so convenient. Comfortable. Luxurious without pretentiousness. Had an amazing stay. We will be back!
The house was perfect for us. Plenty of room for 8 of us and the view of Mt. Hood is amazing! The host answered all my questions promptly and even recommended several bicycle rides which I took advantage of. Couldn't have been better.
Great location and beautiful scenery. Host was very communicative. Unfortunately, a field mouse gave us a visit upon check-in upstairs but everything else was great through the stay.
This house had a fully stocked kitchen, pantry, and essential bathroom supplies. Quiet area but minutes to city center, waterfront and trails. Would live to return.
Five friends enjoyed a beautiful weekend in Hood River. Centrally located to all the beauty Hood River offers. We got lucky with the weather and the gorgeous views of Mt. Hood from the front room.
We stayed at this beautiful home for my son’s wedding, and it was absolutely perfect in every way. The views were breathtaking from sunrise to sunset — truly the kind that make you stop and take it all in. The house itself was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed to feel right at home during such a special weekend. The host went above and beyond to make sure our stay was seamless and memorable. I can’t recommend this place enough — it made an already special occasion even more unforgettable!
The house was absolutely perfect and the host was nice and helpful. So clean, comfortable and plenty of room for the whole family. Bonus points for being super close to the wedding venue!
Our stay was incredible. The house was so clean, had everything we needed (and more), and the views of the mountain and vineyards was beyond perfect. Several of my friends want to book the house for themselves! Highly recommend!
This is a great place to stay while in Hood River. Convenient to the city and the river but nicely out of the way and quiet. We had a wonder stay. Plenty of room for 4 adults. Good kitchen if you like to cook. Plenty of outside spaces to enjoy.
This was a perfect spot to hangout with friends for a weekend! Very spacious, lots of natural light, beautiful views, and a short 5 min drive from downtown Hood River! Looking forward to staying again soon.

We spend as much time as we can in Hood River!
Why they chose this property
We bought this property in 2008. We'd looked up and down the Hood River Valley for over a year for a property that spoke to us, and fell in love with the view from Old Dalles Drive immediately. We were finally able to build in 2015 and absolutely love ZipHaus! It's amazing to sit on the front deck and just...be. You can see the planes landing at the airport on the west side of the valley, watch all kinds of birds winging by (including a flock of wild turkeys, though they mostly trot around the orchards), and watch Mt. Hood as the sun crosses overhead and eventually sets behind the hills of the Cascades. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
