This spacious family home has a fantastic location in Newport, just next to the beautiful Yaquina Bay Park! Walk to shopping and dining in Nye Beach or the historic Bayfront, or simply relax on your private deck and take in unobstructed views of the ocean and the park.
The Yaquina House is perched just above the sand, with a beach access path only an easy, short, level, and paved walk away through the park. This laid-back family home is spacious, with 2,100 square feet offering plenty of room across three floors for up to ten guests!
The large living area has a vaulted ceiling with exposed timber beams and amazing views out to the ocean. A unique sunken conversation area offers cozy bench seating around a freestanding gas fireplace.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need to prepare meals, and there is a spot for everyone in the spacious dining room.
The home has four bedrooms (with three queen beds, one full, and a set of twin bunk beds) and three full baths.
There are outdoor decks on each level of the home, and a ramp to the main level for those who cannot manage stairs. The home is outfitted with high-speed wireless Internet (plus six ports for your ethernet cable) and has TVs on all levels, including two with VCR and DVD players so you never have to disagree over which film to watch!

We really enjoyed our stay here - Newport is a great place to visit - The house was wonderful - very comfortable - We loved the view! Beautiful sunsets - a great family vacation - lots of fabulous memories.
The Sail Inn big secret: excellent Thai food.
The location and view of the ocean is perfect. A nice park across the street, easy access to the beach is nice. The great room is nice and accommodating. TV watching is awkward as the fireplace (nice to have) is in between half of the sinken living room seating and the TV.
Furniture is dated but adequate. The loft bedroom is open to the great room so no privacy or quite if guests are still up. The sauna was very nice to use.
We'll probably stay here again as we have 10 of us and Iike to walk on the beach.
This was our second stay here and we love it!! Love the fireplace, location with views of the surf as well as fishing fleet crossing the bar. This weekend we watched 3 bald eagles floating in the strong breeze right our the living room window. Highly recommend it!
We loved our stay in this home. It was close to the beach and had a beautiful view. The only complaints are minor (ie. too many pieces missing in the games, many of the cooking items needed to be replaced or at least removed...). We have 5 children age 3-11 and all enjoyed the home without any issues. We did avoid the upstairs due to the large opening in the first upstairs bedroom, but that was simply because our children are too young to avoid the temptation of wanting to look through it.
Beautiful views. The house is older but well maintained.
