Two stunning elevated and private beach chalets on the one property. Located on a bushy secluded block with spectacular sweeping ocean views from both chalets. A short walk to Putty Beach, this property is an ideal retreat for couples or family. Escape the city life with this stunning sanctuary of beauty and character.

* Living space features a combustion fireplace, television, stereo and modular lounge setting
* Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher and large dining table
* Full laundry facilities with washing machine and dryer - External access
* Ceiling fans throughout and reverse-cycle air conditioning in the living room
* Mezzanine bedroom overlooks the lounge area with a shared bathroom and separate toilet
* Top chalet is full self-contained with kitchenette, bathroom, TV, 2-seater sofa and balcony.
* Balconies on each chalet both with outdoor dining settings and a gas BBQ on the lower chalet
* Off street parking for one vehicle

Our stay at Killcare Chalet

Great communication with hosts, easy checkin, straightforward property instructions, property was lovely, could hear the ocean 24/7 was amazing. We had a great stay.

Rockstar beach and bush views and laid-back style

We loved everything about our stay at the Chalets. The views from every room and fabulous breeze made it a dream to hang in, day and night. Short walk to the beach, and fabulously fitted out for a family stay.

Girls weekend

Loved the house and location. Well equipped kitchen, clean, tidy with everything we needed. Would've appreciated if linen was included though given the price.

Beautiful property, just like the photos

Loved the 2 nights we stayed here. property is gorgeous, clean and has everything we needed. The only shortfall was the linen and toilet rolls. firstly we had to pay extra for the linen and secondly not enough toilet rolls. apart from that. loved it.

Beautiful views and surroundings but it needs better maintenance and cleaning

It needs pest control and window cleaning of the upper house. There were so many red ants and the windows were quite gross.

You’re paying for the view

Tired, rather neglected property in need of a good clean. Beautiful view and location. Louvred windows at rear of property so filthy you couldn’t see through them, quite depressing. Half-used soap in shower. Advertised features via photos unusable eg: wood fire with no wood, and it was cold, wet and windy, so was needed.

Beautiful Place, Dangerous Stairs

We loved the place and the location, however we did have big issues with the three lots of stairs heading up to the house as they were very slippery and almost stacked it at least 4 times on the 1st day alone. There was also an ant issue in the kitchen area & bathrooms.

Amazing views

We loved our stay at this beautiful property. The view from the balcony was amazing and it is very close to the beach. There are board games and all the kitchen equipment you could need. We would definitely recommend. Only negatives were the fact that you have to arrange linen separately, although Rita in Killcare Linen was amazing to deal with. We are also still waiting for the refund of our bond to be processed 4 days after checking out! Would recommend having a car as it is a 20 minute walk to shops and restaurants.

Spectacular Vista

These pavilions are wonderful for a group of adults staying together but having their own privacy when required. They are a short walk from the beach and Bouddi National Park.The top level self contained pavilion has spectacular views of the beach, Pacific Ocean, the sunset, wildlife and the stars. The lower pavilion contains good kitchen facilities and good views too. There is a bonus third bathroom in the laundry to wash off the sand after returning from the beach. The stairs are not for the faint hearted but are good exercise. We'll be back!

Xmas week at The chalets killcare

The chalets are in an incredible position at the end of Anthony Crescent with fabulous views of the ocean and beach. Parking closer to the beach was tricky at Xmas but it’s a relatively easy walk to the beach especially if you go via a bush track behind the houses on the other side of the road! The accommodation itself is definitely a little tired but you soon forget that with that awesome view. the layout works well for 2 couples - 3 couples would be fine as long as they don’t mind lack of privacy! The second chalet has the better bathroom and a huge bedroom in an open plan space with even better views so we got that! All in all we had a lovely week at Killcare despite the rain and enjoyed meals on the deck as well as in the main chalet. The kitchen is well equipped, but it would be better if more basics such as washing up liquid and kitchen rubbish bags were supplied so you don’t arrive and immediately have to go shopping! Despite these few niggles I would book again.

Fabulous views from a quiet location.

The Chalets at Putty Beach offer a laid back beach experience with fabulous views to the horizon. Surrounded by National Park, a swim is an easy walk downhill from the elevated accomodation. The interior is unpretentious, airy & spacious, inviting relaxation. Resident birds abound, welcoming dawn with their calls. We loved our stay.

The Chalets

Great property with great views and good facilities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. However there were a few annoying things such as the fridge door not closing fully which was inconvenient during Christmas week with so much storage for cooking being required. Also the open mezzanine bedroom is not very private and this was not really communicated in the property brief.

Excellent property.

We loved the Chalets, we were 5 adults and 1 child 5yo. Amazing views, quiet (we were there for the October long-weekend) close to the National Park and beaches, we even saw a large pod of dolphins and 3 whales. The family with the child loved their own space in the lower Chalet, the other couple and 1 additional adult stayed in the upper Chalet, which was self-contained so we didn't have to disturb the family below. We shared meals and entertaining in the large lower Chalet, heaps of room and lovely decks in both Chalets. A couple of suggestions, a TV in the upper Chalet, internet & Foxtel/Austar access would have been great, plus a handrail around the steps and the mezzanine bedroom in the lower Chalet would be good. We will certainly love to come back again.
