Large open bright colorful Cottage located on Lake Tobesofkee with 225ft of lake frontage and 2900 ft of living space. Can sleep 8 comfortably. Lots of large windows on the back of Cottage provide great views of the lake from the kitchen, master bedroom and second bedroom. Located on a great part of the lake with a big water view (see the pics).

The Cottage has a large covered porch on the back (that receives lots of great guest feedback) with several gliders for lazying around watching friends and family on the dock as well as birds, fishers, skiers, tubers and jet skiers come by! Bring your boat and your folks can watch you out there as well!

Has a wonderful Master Bedroom (King size bed) and Bath. Three additional Bedrooms with Queen Beds. High end linens and towels on the beds and in the baths like in nicer hotels. Spacious designer kitchen with everything needed to cook a great meal. Big back yard and great dock for your boat as well as swimming and fishing.

A gas grill is located off of the kitchen on second porch for guest use with utensils in kitchen. Everything to make that great cup of Starbuck's coffee to start the day is provided!

High speed Cox WiFi and expanded Cable is provided as well as Netflix.

Perfect spot to relax and enjoy the lake life. Has that cozy cottage feel with the amenities you want. Located close to all historic Macon has to offer. The revitalized downtown area has great restaurants and pubs. I provide a Guide Book of my favorite restaurants from casual to fine dining as well as sites to see in Macon when you book!

Convenient location allows you to quickly take in a movie (AmStar 16), go golfing, get to a Kroger and Walmart, visit the two lake parks (https://laketobo.maconbibb.us/activities/) with sandy beaches, play areas for kids, picnic areas, or take the kids to the Sandy Beach Water Park located 1 mile from Cottage.

Excellent stay!

Really enjoyed our stay at this lakefront property. The property is beautiful as advertised! What struck us were all the little details that JD provided, such as a lovely coffee bar set up in the kitchen, a fully equipped kitchen, an abundance of towels in all bathrooms, extra blankets and pillows in each bedroom, paper products and cleaning products. Plenty of pillowed seating on the large back porch for all of us to enjoy the stunning lake view. JD responded to all our questions in a timely manner. Will definitely stay here again for our next family gathering!

Amazing house on the lake

My fourth time at this property. I love it. My family loves it. It's so cozy. Very clean. I noticed the owner did a lot of upgrades since my last stay. The owner is also amazing. Thank you John for another awesome stay at the lake house.

Pre-Thanksgiving Get-away

This property is absolutely beautiful. I would stay again for sure. This house is surprising larger than the pictures indicate. The only thing about the property that wasn't a huge deal but because of my own standards is that it could have been cleaner. I know that property owners hire servicers to clean so this may have been avoided if the servicer would be detailed about the cleaning. Lots of dust bunnies on the things within the house, floors just need a real good cleaning, and the porch out back should have been blown off or at the very least broomed down the spider webs. It's the way we are about being in a clean environment and perhaps this won't bother anyone else. It wasn't super bad, it just needs a good deep cleaning. Very good location. Ambience was so relaxing!

Home away from Home

Best home around! This has been our second time of enjoyment at your home, and it will not be our last. I hope we can catch this place the same time every year. The atmosphere is peaceful, and it’s full of good memories. For our family, it’s a challenge to get my mom down at the water, and on any boat, with that being said, we so much appreciate the flat ground and easy access all the way around. We’ve been able to come together so easily, and truly enjoy this spacious area. We can’t wait to book again.

Great value, nice home, beautiful view

We were very happy with our stay at the lake house. The house is very unassuming when you first pull up into the driveway but inside it has plenty of room. We had the maximum guests and we were very comfortable. There are 4 bedrooms with a fifth set up as an office that can be utilized as a bed room with the addition of a air mattress which I believe is there in the closet. There was a nice open living room and dining room with high ceilings which make the space seem bigger. The kitchen was one of our favorite places in the house with everything you could need for cooking for a week. It was very modern and had plenty of counter space. Our favorite room however was the master suite the bedroom was nice sized and the master bath was enormous and beautiful. And finally the view was amazing the property was right on the lake with a large yard and a dock that we spent plenty of time during our stay fishing with the kids. Also there are 2 manmade beaches on the lake that are basically just around the corner and that we're not too busy and nice. John the host was very friendly and quick to respond to the few questions that we had during our stay. I would highly recommend this home for family vaction.

Awesome, clean, scenic home!

We enjoyed our stay so much, felt right at home, very clean and close to everything. Nice lake beach next buy and marina to rent boats. The owner was always very quick to respond to any question we had. If we are in area we will rent here again!

Lake House Luxury

We are very pleased with all aspects of our VRBO experience. The host responds promptly to questions. The property is fantastic with a stunning lake view. It is spacious, comfortable and offers many extra amenities.

Perfect Lake House

We had a wonderful time at this house. The location is quiet and very relaxing. The house was just as described - plenty of towels and kitchen equipment to eat in a few nights. This is 20 minutes to everything in Macon. The furniture was somewhat dated, but the beds were comfortable and the linens were clean and of quality standard. I would recommend staying here if you visit Macon.

Wonderful stay!!

We came to Macon to enjoy the Cherry Blossom Festival and had a wonderful time. The festival, parade and festivities were all fun and the cherry trees with their beautiful blossoms were amazing!! Our accommodations were lovely and as pictured and described. We didn't lack for anything. We enjoyed spending time on the back deck that overlooked the beautiful backyard with lake view. The owner was very quick to respond to any inquiry before our stay and was most accommodating!! Would definitely recommend and would stay again if back in the area. Many thanks for a wonderful time!

Peaceful and calming

Great family home!

We had a great stay at the lake house! It was very spacious and quite clean! The house was well equipped with linens, and anything you might need in the kitchen. The master bathroom floor in the water closet could use some repairs, but other than that everything was great! Thank you!

Family time

This is our third stay at the Lake House. It is a very clean and comfortable place for our family to gather for the holidays. The lake view is beautiful and the porch in the back is a relaxing place to hang out and reconnect with nature and each other. Home away from home ❤️

This place was comfortable, and home feeling. I was able to celebrate my anniversary with my husband, as a widow.. on the back porch. Watching the sunrise over the water, I was able to talk to him in prayer. This home was big enough, while still being cozy, for all of my immediate family and than some. My mom stayed with us here. She is 91, and I emphysema which limits both of us from getting around. I am 100% thankful we found this home as it was smooth enough for us to get around inside and out. Many lake houses are covered in steps, but this home had the least by far. Thankfully the ground was smooth enough for us to bring our electric scooters that got us from the boat dock and back. We did have an issue with ants, but my son is an exterminator and was able to do a couple sprays which helped a lot. The only issue I would suggest is a better detailed cleaning system.

Girls' Weekend

Rented the house for a girls' weekend during the Cherry Blossom Festival. The weather was a little bit cool, but we enjoyed sitting on the back porch and taking in the beautiful lake views, while sipping our morning coffee.

Bait and switch

The house and property shows well; however, the house is in need of repair to remove damp and stale order, ands insects. The house lacked detailed cleaning in shower, dingy and not vacuum carpet, pots and pans surfaces not fit to use, grill not clean, leaky roof around fire place.

Whether you want a fun recreational lake vacation or just a special place to gather with family and friends with a calm relaxing atmosphere and a beautiful lake view this is the place. Cottage is located on a great part of the lake with 225' of lake frontage that provides big water views through large windows from every room on the back of the Cottage. Lots of guests have left great feedback about how much they enjoyed drinking coffee at the kitchen table that has a beautiful lake view and watching the sunrise (house faces east on lake side) or hanging out on the covered back porch and enjoying the lake view underneath the breeze of the fan.
