Lovely Country Cottage

This was just what we were looking for - quiet and rural, but close enough to Auckland that distance/travel wasn't a big factor. Rod and Anne were great hosts.

Quiet and relaxing getaway

Lovely little cottage tucked away in the countryside. Idyllic and warm in winter, cool in summer. This was our 2nd visit and a welcome retreat from the city. Appreciated the milk in the fridge and complimentary chocolate for the evenings, thank you.

Great little cottage

Have a lovely time with all the animals. It was a great location, and had everything we needed for a weekend away. I just wish I’d finished the jigsaw puzzle!

Relaxing country stay

The property is cosy. All was clean with beautiful linen and a very comfy bed. Wonderful friendly host. Warmly welcomed. Really love having the donkey in the paddock. This is our second stay 😊

Pukekawa Cottage

I found this cottage to be designed with consideration and fulfilled my needs. It was quiet and rural with easy access to surrounding areas, making it convenient for me to visit family and friends. Anne and Rod were attentive hosts while deeply considerate of privacy.

Like many guests we did not have enough time to enjoy their company but they were considerate, thoughtful and left the cottage in a clean and tidy state. They are more than welcome to come again at any time.

Country Charm

A beautifully positioned country cottage surrounded by trees with animals just across the fence. We were very comfortable on a very wet night. The decor was peaceful and encouraged relaxing with a book. The cottage was fully set up with kitchen and laundry - perfect for a longer stay.

Could not fault any thing.

Rod and Anne are warm and caring people who welcomed us and made sure we would be totally comfortable during our stay, and we were. Even to the point where they offered to come and collect us if our car broke down. Communication was wonderful. Very clean and comfortable with a fantastic bed. Thankyou for a memorable stay.

Good small cottage

Good clean and quiet cottage. Wi-fi didn't work for us and very little network coverage. We couldn't stay for the duration mainly due to that, as my work rely on active network.

Quiet, quaint cottage

Lovely little cottage on a lifestyle block. Kitchen well appointed with everything you need for cooking meals. Modern stovetop and oven an added bonus. Loved the decor and the deck protected you from the summer sun.Rod would periodically check in to see if we needed anything, like extra towels. The Wedding Retreat

Great little place to stay away from everyone. Took a book and some study as no TV. We did use our phones for back ground noise as there was no radio but we had cellphone coverage on the Spark network. Neat place and very easy to talk with the owner.

Peaceful break away

This cottage was well presented, adequately appointed and very clean. Tucked away in the countryside beside the owners home yet independent of it and secluded from it, the place was quiet and peaceful. No TV was a bonus. Internet was not available and mobile service coverage spasmodic all of which was a bother but for us not a showstopper. We would stay again.

Wunderbar

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr idyllisch und ruhig mit Schafen, Eseln und einem quirligen Hund. Das Häuschen war sehr geräumig und sauber und die Gastgeber haben mich zum Dinner eingeladen. Es war ein sehr schöner Abend und eine erholsame Nacht. Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich nett und lustig und geben ganz viele Tipps, was man sich in der Nähe anschauen kann. Insgesamt total empfehlenswert.
