House is in a great location just a few minutes drive to Blueys & Boomerang Beach. We’d stay here again. House had everything we needed and Norma made the check in and check out process super easy
A charming old house in a beautiful beachside town.
The house was old but so sweet and charming. We were all in love with the place immediately. Communication with the host was great, she was friendly and helpful. We have no complaints
Rusty, but utterly charming. A wonderful house, with lots of history. Our 7 year old loved playing in the beautiful garden, and we very much enjoyed our morning visits from kangaroos and kookaburras.
Close to all the wonderful beaches and shops of Blueys Beach.
We very much enjoyed our stay.
Enjoyed a wonderful stay at Norma’s property at Blueys Beach. The weatherboard house is well equipped with everything you need, the outdoor entertainment area is fantastic and the location and large parcel of land that the house was set upon was gorgeous, inviting daily visits from wallabies which was lovely. The house was an easy 5min stroll to the beach and village shops which also made for a convenient stay.

Dear Nicole,
Thank you for your great review. I am very happy when my guests enjoy to be around the nature and like to see kangaroos jumping on the hills. Thank you for staying with us and You are welcome at any time.
Really enjoyed our stay here, house was quirky with loads of windows and character and was comfortable and very well equipped
Kitchen was really well kitted out, lovely bathroom and large supply of DVD's, games and some books but the best bits were the outdoor areas of which there were several to allow for all weather and times of day
Beautiful bush backdrop with kookaburras, goannas and wallabies around and an outdoor toilet and open air shower for convenience
Not far to Blueys beach which was lovely but a bit rough for kids but we discovered nearby Elizabeth Beach which was only several minutes drive away and perfect for all
Local Hueys Pizzas were also fabulous
Thanks Norma for a lovely relaxing break
A house with enormous character, we loved its location and the beaches. Perfect for a family of four (bit of a squeeze for 5 adults) The outside areas thoughtfully designed with inside and outside living and eating seamless, and great outdoor shower. Had wonderful wildlife with kookaburras kangaroos and monitor lizards!! Played board games and watched many of the movies from dvd range. Simple pleasures.
We loved our stay in this old quirky original farmhouse. The home was extremely comfortable - beds and couches were great and lots of windows and fans to stay cool. Kitchen though in original condition was perfectly stocked with everything needed - apart from their being no dishwasher but we didn’t mind that. The garden was fabulous and we enjoyed spending time on different parts of it. Norma was brilliant and helpful every step of the way. This house may not be for everyone as it’s old and not modern ( apart from the fabulous new bathroom) but we just lived it’s simplicity and quietness just on th edge of town.

Thanks Carmel for staying with us, you are always welcome!
The house holds an elevated position back from the road, and meets a rain-forest halfway up the slope. Kangaroos, kookaburras and wongas graze in the cleverly constructed outdoor areas, where rock seats offer pleasant areas to dine, catch the air,or simply watch the stars. Overhead fans keep the interior cool, and Norma is attentive to her guests’ every need. We had a most relaxing and enjoyable time exploring the district, and returned to Casa del Sol as to a home.

Our second stay as a family of 5 - teenagers. Loved the spruced up bathroom and comfy beds. Our 3 shared a room. Great location near the shops and a quick drive to the beaches. Nice range of movies to watch too.

Great location!
Perfect location, next to the beaches & amenities. The house was spacious and well furnished, but quite old and prone to insects. All in all quite affordable (despite having to pay extra for towels & sheets!)
