"Some day we reported that in Zagreb constituted a joint stock company that has decided to build a sanatorium for treatment of various diseases, such as sanatoriums in other big cities. The foundation for the building itself was created by the engineer Ignjat Fischer and the construction will be supervised by architect Vjekoslav Heinzel. To avoid various objections, the project was sent to the Society of Engineers and Architects in Vienna for evaluation. The Society evaluated this project as the best, and particularly liked the idea that the whole building gave the horseshoe figure, because all the hospital and residential rooms have a front to the south, which is especially comfortable for the patients ... Because of my restless adventurous spirit I was in the hospital in Klaićeva four times, of which three times in surgery.
