True disappointment

I am extremely disappointed with my stay. It was impossible to keep a light on outside the cabin, and no one responded when I asked for help. The heater made dripping noises throughout the night, and above 50 degrees, it was impossible to rest. To make matters worse, the main bed was incredibly uncomfortable, and for some reason, the internet was cut off this morning before our checkout time. It was a great little cabin but it desperately needs some upgrades for a more restful stay.

Big disappointment!

Stove didn't work which was a real inconvenience and ended up costing us a lot of money. We had planed to have a belated thanksgiving dinner and brought all the food with us. Since we couldn't cook we had to go out and spend a lot of money on bad food. There were also no basics in the kitchen. Like a can opener. There was also no broom and the towels were like paper towels. Definitely bring your own. The heater is not adequate for the house even when it is turned up all the way. There is also no porch light and coming in at night is a little dangerous.

Valoracion general de la cabaña

Todo esta muy bonito, muy completo pues practicamente no te falta nada en la cabaña,cuenta con platos, vasos, Utencilios para cocinar, muchisimos juegos de mesa, cobijas extra, casi todo lo que tienes en tu casa lo tienen ahí. Lo negativo de esto y que no nos gusto es que te cobran por la limpieza como 100 dls y cuando llegas y haces check in te dan unas hojas donde dice que tienes que dejar limpio una direccion donde tienes que ir a tirar la basura y al final si le hace falta algo de limpiesa a los cojines de la sala al patio de enfrente unos detalles como un foco fundido la cortina de la sala estaba quebrada, en fin siento que es innecesario que cobren por limpieza puesto que no estaba 100% limpia creo que cada vez que se haga una reservacion podrian limpiar antes de que la gente llegue las cobijas tampoco olian a limpio mas solo dos mantas pequeñas que estaban en la sala. Luego si no tiras la basura te cobran 50 dls creo que uno paga demasiado para que sean tan estrictos en ese aspecto mi esposo dice pelliscadores de pennies. Espero esto les ayude a quien reserve y a los dueños que lo tomen en cuenta para que su servicio sea excelente.

Warm and cozy

The cabin is warm and comfy. The wifi signal was really bad. Front door was not very secure. The picture of the lake on the listing made me believe the lake was right behind the cabin

Overall: One Amazing Stay

We enjoyed the stay at the cabin. It was close to the lake, and we visited the lake at night. The place was perfect and the kids played in the snow outside the cabin. Overall this was one excellent stay.

Nice place for short stays if you are eating out . Any longer youll want a better equipped kitchen if you cook.

Woodpecker cabin

The cabin was nice but a bit deceiving from the picture. I thought it would be closer to the lake then it really was additionally the light in the master bedroom came on by itself at least 8 times through the night. Very frustrating!!

Can’t wait to come back

Overall the stay was good. Everyone was pet friendly. Only issues was outside lighting did not work, toilet continued to run I had to keep adjusting the chain, thought we had movies but when I ordered one which I thought was going to be added to my bill was stopped halfway through it and then we could not watch anything without a trial subscription, also the fenced area for dogs was full of holes. Overall we can’t wait to tell our friends. It’s our 35th in September and we will be back. Thank you to the homeowner and all involved with our stay. Cool Cabins Thank You.
