It was alright, just disappointing
We had high hopes for the place after looking at the images and once we got there, first impressions were pretty good. However, upon closer inspection, there were what looked like punch holes and scribbles on the walls, doors that did not lock properly, rugs that were filthy, and some of the bedsheets were not thoroughly cleaned (ie “stains”). We also spotted some cockroaches on the walls. Furthermore, the control for the heaters were a bit jank and required us to turn them on and off directly from the unit.
I suspect that all the messages exchanged with the host are automated, which I do not have a problem with as she readily answered our phone calls. The issue is that she had informed us that she will contact us regarding check in information closer to our arrival date however, it wasn’t until I had to reach out personally (hours after the 2pm check in time) to ask for the details, that I then received the information.
