Dit huisje ligt aan de oevers van Lake Erie in een kleine, rustige cottage-gemeenschap, midden in het hart van het epische wijnland. Dit huisje is perfect voor een enkele persoon of een stel dat naar het gebied reist. Biedt een prachtig uitzicht op Lake Erie, mooi terrein met bomen, vuurplaats en hangmat. Fietsen voor uw plezier, als u langs de kust wilt fietsen naar wijnmakerijen, strand en stands met lokale producten. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage! It was incredibly clean and had everything we could possibly need — the owners truly thought of every detail to make our stay comfortable. One of the loveliest surprises was the homemade banana bread waiting for us when we arrived — such a thoughtful touch!The view of the water was absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. We spent every evening soaking in the peaceful scenery and couldn’t believe how relaxing it was. This place is a true gem.

We loved the location, the sunsets were amazing for all 3 evenings. We celebrated two milestones, my partner making it to his 70th year on this planet and the final payment on our mortgage. Life is Good. We had everything we needed at the cottage, we didn't get to cook as we were too busy taking in all the offerings of the area and needed a couple more nights to just BE in the space. We would consider staying here again.

A true little hideaway

We loved our stay at this quaint but quality and charming retreat cottage. The location and surrounding attractions are particularly great for wine enthusiasts but equally great to just kick back and decompress while looking over the beeezy Lake Erie or taking a 10 minute stroll up the road to the lavender fields and endless vineyards.

The perfect getaway!!

They thought of absolutely everything!! The view is A. The cottage is the cutest thing we’ve booked in a very long time. There was so much to do in this area whether you wanted to hop in the car and explore or sit on the beautiful deck at the cottage and dream away the day while looking at the gorgeous view! The cottage is quaint but it offered all we needed to make our holiday a success. We will not forget the memories made at The Hideaway

My husband and I have been married for 34 years. We have two adult sons. We live in beautiful Kingsville. My husband owns a plumbing company and I have worked for the Catholic school board for the past 36 years. My husband and I love attending music festivals and outdoor events. We love fine dining and touring the area to sample wine and beer while listening to local talent, golfing and going to sporting events. When not doing that we hang out at our home swimming and tending to our two dogs.

Waarom de eigenaar deze accommodatie gekozen heeft

I moved to Kingsville Ontario from London England when I was 7. As a child I grew up along the shores of Lake Erie. My heart has always been in the area and I love the peacefulness of the lake. I have always dreamed of having just a simple little place on Lake Erie, where I could go and just escape. I often rent cottages along the Lake Erie shore and do wine tours with my girlfriends. The area is just so wonderful. I was having breakfast at Garfield’s with a friend. It was a beautiful fall day. I just noticed a for sale sign at the end of the road. I decided what the heck. Let’s go look. I fell in love with the place the minute I saw it. It was perfect for what we were looking for. A quite little place on the water. I love sitting inside with the Windows open and the breeze coming off the lake. I’m very excited to enjoy the outside. We plan on doing some extra things in the spring to make it more enjoyable. This place is perfect for a romantic getaway or for a single person who just wants to come and relax with all the comforts. My husband and I like to call our place the hideaway. We both love to host and entertain. We are so very excited to share our little hideaway with others.
