If you are an Angler, peaks thrust 13,000+ feet into the sky just west of our property, and brookies, rainbows, cutthroat, and brown trout fin placidly in the Wind River just 50 feet from your back door. The river is fed by numerous thermal springs, so it never freezes in the winter. Just above the property in the Wind River Range there are hundreds more remote lakes so clear they appear to be covered in nothing but cellophane. The upper Wind River runs through private ranches, willow flats, beaver ponds, and becomes public water in the Shoshone National Forest. It’s a region full of varied trout opportunities with excellent stream fishing, combined with exotic golden trout in the high lakes, makes the Wind River Range a sought-after destination for worldwide adventurous anglers.

Yellowstone Luxury Villa on the Wind River, Main Level - Family/Pets OK
average rating of 4.0 based on 8 reviews

The property is magnificent and the view is overwhelming.

  • 5 of 5

This property is excellent and very spacious. Everything is well taken care of. The house is truly home away from home. However, it is not intended for a handicapped person. However, a little creative thought will overcome. The owner is thoughtful and will try to be helpful in anything one needs. Not far from Grand Tetons or Yellowstone.

Beautiful Home on the Wind River

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at Terry's place last week. Trout fishing out the back door, wildlife in the yard, and great view of Rams Horn Peak. Fantastic home that is fully equipped made our stay here very relaxing. Hope to return again soon. Thanks Terry and Al.

Beautiful views and very spacious home.

  • 3 of 5

No fans in the rooms, you might end up sharing the backyard with strangers and the owner walks in from time to time, even if you are not there.

Owner's Response: The yard and irrigation system is maintained by either myself or a contractor. If we ever need to go in the unit, is to perform standard maintenance and we always make sure no one is occupying the unit. This is standard procedure with any property.

Really nice house!

  • 5 of 5

This is a really nice place. It's big, comfortable and well appointed. It has lots of windows so you have a great view of the river which is within 30 yards of the back door with steps down to its edge. We enjoyed watching the birds, bunnies and deer that came to eat the grass. This is a two unit dwelling with an upstairs and down. We were in the upstairs and even though others were in the downstairs, we never heard them. We stayed here to visit the Tetons and Yellowstone knowing that it is a bit of a drive to both. It is about 56 miles to the Moran entrance of Teton park and about 80 miles to the south entrance to Yellowstone. Plan on 1 to 2 hours to your destination đepending on how fast you like to drive in the mountains. Regardless, I would highly recommend this and I will definitely consider it for future trips.

Good place to relax

  • 4 of 5

Nice house. Lovely setting with the river flowing by. Owner was very accommodating. It had a personal feel to it--not like a rental. Kitchen is huge and well supplied.
