LACASARIVA

Toda la familia se deleitará en este contemporáneo de 3 dormitorios, 2 baños con vista al mar. A los adultos les encantará la gran sala espaciosa con sus sofás de cuero mantecoso, chimenea de gas y TV de pantalla plana con Blu-ray 3-D. La lujosa cocina, totalmente equipada y con superficie de granito, está abierta a la sala de estar y al comedor, para que nadie se quede fuera de la conversación. Hay más que suficiente diversión en la enorme sala de juegos de arriba, con una mesa de billar que se puede convertir en ping-pong con facilidad. Sofás de cuero, dardos, una mesa de bar, un gabinete lleno de juegos, un televisor de pantalla grande con Blu-ray 3-D e incluso mini-futbolín disfrazados de mesa de café mantendrán a los niños y adultos entretenidos sin importar el clima. La sala de juegos se abre a una terraza con vista al mar con sillas y mesas laterales para disfrutar de la puesta de sol. Y eso no es todo: una parrilla de gas, tres bicicletas, sillas de playa y una mesa de póquer y sillas plegables están en el garaje para su uso. En el nivel principal se encuentran una suite tamaño king y una habitación grande tamaño queen, junto con una habitación con literas para 6 personas. Estás a un corto paseo por el barrio de Olivia Beach y el acceso a la playa, y un rápido viaje en automóvil hasta el centro comercial Outlet de Lincoln City. ¿Quiere un lujo lleno de luz y un lugar divertido para toda la familia? Great for families!

Good house for kids/teens/young adults due to bonus room to hang out in and have their own space. The bunk room was tight if it was expected to actually fit 6 people but comfortable nonetheless. Lots of supplies if you are cooking at home. If you are staying more than a few days with multiple people, make sure you have extra toilet paper/paper towels etc. Not convenient for easily accessing the beach…quite hilly, road is a little dangerous to walk it due to no sidewalks. Yard is available but only has the fence in 3 sides…not totally fenced if you have a dog.

Perfect house for our vacation

Pros: Several usable spaces to spread out and a big kitchen to cook in. Balcony looks out to ocean, never felt cramped. The upstairs area was a pleasant surprise with pool table, TV, and lots of seating. Cons: Two bathrooms was tough for the amount of people we had and the third bedroom has 4 beds (2 bunks) which was fine for our group, but worth noting as the top two beds are right up against the ceiling. Beach is a drive, a short drive and a nice beach, but there wasn't a beach we could walk to that we found. Overall we would get this house again for a Lincoln City getaway!

Great trip - Generally pleased with the quality for price.

Pros: - As described, no big surprises. - The pool table was a huge hit among the dads and teens. - The house was clean; low fragrance products used (which we hugely appreciate). - Spare blankets were helpful. - Super cute area with a super short drive to a very accessible beach access that even Nana could enjoy with a bad knee. - Safely walkable for a hilly morning walk through the Olivia Beach neighborhood. Cons: - Nobody slept in the bunk beds. My kids usually battle for the top bunks but these are super close to the ceiling. The ceiling light is right at the ladder entry, making it difficult to get into. The double bunk had more motion than anyone was comfortable with stacking kids into. They loved sleeping on the air mattresses we brought (thanks to reading the reviews about the bunks) and the couches. - There is indeed very little silverware for the house size. We always bring our own (food allergies) so it didn't matter for us. - The king bed was quite squeaky. - The gas fireplace was awesome but the fan needs attention, as it gets quite loud/squeaky. We were traveling as two families, plus Nana and a small dog for sports. The house was what we expected from the description and reviews and we felt it was priced reasonably. We would gladly return to it.

Great location, very nice spacious home

Overall we had a really great experience. We would stay here again. We loved the spacious rooms where we spent time together. The game room was a hit for our young adult sons. The kitchen had lots of equipment for cooking and space for gathering and eating. The bedrooms were very nice, the eds plenty comfortable. Plenty of towels and linens. And the walk to the beach (10 minutes in either direction) was really nice, especially down through the charming Olivia Beach neighborhood. Silverware was in short supply for the number of guests the place accommodates, and there were several things in disrepair (the oven had been damaged so the buttons were hard to operate but we were able to figure it out and it worked fine; one or two of the window blinds wouldn’t raise; and several kitchen tools were broken). We were disappointed in the lack of hand soap at the sinks, so we had to go shopping to take care of that need. The yard was in pretty rough shape, so taking our dog out for potty breaks wasn’t as pleasant as it could have been. And the non-functioning hoses would have been handy to rinse off sandy feet and sandals. The place reeked of fish when we first arrived, but it got better (except in the garage where the trash can was, so that may have just been a coincidental/unfortunate result of some seafood cleaning, preparation and cooking of a prior renter?). But the downsides were very few compared to the overall lovely, comfortable, spacious home with a great location. :)

Great for families

The home is beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped. The kids loved the game room. We were not able to walk to the beach. Not as close as pictures implied. We never found the playground in pictures. I imagined it would be very close, because it was in pictures but there were no directions to it in info book in house, and never found it. Had a fun time.

Love this house, repeat stay!

Love this property. Wonderful location and space inside this home. We have been at this location a few times now. This last stay the internet did not work for the entire stay. The management company tried to fix the issue but was unable. So much of the entertainment at this home was tied to the internet that it made the stay not as fun. Needless to stay, we will still be back! Thank you!

Super clean but….

This place was immaculate. Location, just beautiful. However, I thought the seating in the family room was lacking… could add some chairs in addition to the couch. Also, I should not assume, but I have never stayed at an air b n b with less kitchen incidentals. The pots, pans and dishes were there, but some sandwich bags, foil, sugar, Saran Wrap would have been nice. When I rent a nice house like this, I cook, and there was nothing to cover my left over salad with or wrap up my cheese for the next day. I feel like the hosts could spend $6 at the dollar store for these little things. I was grateful and I mean GRATEFUL to find coffee filters; but there were very few, do they will probably be gone when you arrive. Again, these things should not be assumed to be there by me, but experience dictates that they are as this is different from a hotel (where Ben coffee is provided in the rooms).

Good rental company - OK house

PROS: 1. Great communication from the rental company. We found an issue with previous renters left faked nails in the game room. Creepy and nasty. The management company immediately returned our texts and offered a cleaning crew to come and fix the problem right away. We did not need it but very much appreciated the integrity and responsibility they showed us. 2. Location. The house situated not far from Nelscott beach. The distance is both walkable and drivable with parking spaces. Watching sunsets were our daily activity as it was such easy access the house provided. 3. Smart HOUSE layouts. Game room is upstairs and away from the bedrooms/dinning area which was a plus for senior(s) or those who still need naps during daytime or early bedtime. However, it was not too many stairs which again, a plus for those who travel with grandparents who like to watch the kids play but not have to climb up or down much. Also, personally, I’d prefer a game room like this than pool table or ping pong table in the garage. CONS: 1. Biggest con for me is the layout in 1 of the bedrooms. I can see why they have 2 set of bunk beds. They probably want to get more renters but this room is not big enough for 2 sets!!!! It makes the room so dark. To plug in any charger or white noise machine for kids we pretty had to twist our arms to get behind the beds cause these beds cover ALL wall spaces. No room for anything else in this room. 2. Home owners need to take care of door knobs and drawer knobs. It might seem like a tiny problem but little kids don’t usually go gentle on opening drawers / doors and ALL of their knobs are so ready to fall off; to a point we did not put our clothes in any drawer to avoid damages. It’s such a little problem but unfortunately caused big annoyance to me. 3. only couple stair steps to get onto the side deck to get into the house BUT consider how much it rains here in OR, stairs need an updated gripping tapes because it was definitely slippery. Especially if travelers come with suitcases need carried up. NOT a deal breaker, just a little note as my kids fell couple times. 4. We would appreciate an oven that we can actually read on / off buttons as they are all scratched off!!! (I understand it’s a big update but just a thought??!!) ALL in ALL, off season pricing is reasonable for the house.
