Birdwood Park Estate Séjour à la ferme

La grange de style américain, récemment rénovée, est discrètement nichée dans les terres tranquilles et isolées de Birdwood Park Estate, une petite ferme de loisirs de 17 hectares reliée par Balingup Brook sur trois côtés et l’Avenue of Honor sur le quatrième. Une vue imprenable sur les collines et le ruisseau environnants est complétée par les impressionnants chênes. Malgré l'ambiance rurale calme, les clients ne sont qu'à quelques minutes à pied du centre du village de Balingup.
Avec autant de sites touristiques du sud-ouest à moins d'une heure de route de Balingup, la ferme est un lieu de séjour idéal pour explorer la magie du quartier ou tout simplement pour se détendre et profiter du rythme de la vie rurale.

La grange dispose de trois chambres confortables pouvant accueillir jusqu'à six personnes, d'un salon décloisonné avec chauffage par plaques chauffantes et d'une cuisine entièrement équipée. Un barbecue est à la disposition des clients dans le coin salon extérieur privé.

Du pain grillé, des céréales et des fruits pour le petit-déjeuner sont inclus dans le tarif. Toutefois, des œufs en plein air et des produits frais de saison peuvent également être disponibles moyennant un supplément.

Relaxing and peaceful stay

The accommodation was comfortable and everything there that you needed. The owners were welcoming and added a few personal touches - delicious sourdough bread and eggs from their farm. a very enjoyable stay.

Great property, located just outside the town, but with great views of countryside and plenty of birdlife. Comfortable beds, with electric blankets for cold winter and spring nights. A couple of nice treats left by the owner to enjoy when checking in,

Wonderful weekend getaway

We had a lovely weekend getaway. The property was clean and cosy, and in a whisper quiet location, but super close to town and the Golden Valley Tree Park that we'd come to see. Mary and Nye are fabulous hosts. So many thoughtful extras were supplied like tea, coffee, cereals, homemade sourdough bread, butter and jam, milk etc etc. The linen on the beds was lovely, and the electric blankets and pot belly were a welcome addition as the night temperatures were very cool. Loved our stay and will definitely return.

A little gem close to town

The whole family enjoyed their stay here. The kids loved visiting the animals and feeding the goats. Milk, jam, fresh eggs & home made bread are the perfect touches provided. A wonderful clean, cosy place to stay with beautiful views within walking distance to town. The owners are welcoming, friendly and great communication.

Wonderful family getaway

Mary was a wonderful host. Our kids loved interacting with the animals and having a warm fire to come home at night to. It is a beautiful property! In the fresh made bread on arrival made it even more special.

Quiet perfect location

The accommodation is a great size. The kitchen is fantastic. The beds and bedding are of great quality. The views of the surrounding area are great. The owners, Mary and Ney are very friendly and were happy to explain about their property. They did make us feel very welcome. The property is located very near to the center of Balingup. It is only a short walk. We look forward to come back.

Balingup Barn House

We are sorry that Trevor and his party were unable to watch the football due to the poor free to air reception in Balingup. We have now rectified the problem by installing a (VAST) satellite television system so guests can now watch most of their favourite free to air channels.

wonderful hosts; delightful cottage

For us, the cottage was ideal. A simple but pleasant construction, especially on the inside. Lovely setting and convenient location. Our hosts were friendly and made extra effort to welcome us and make our stay pleasant. My only critical comment is that the Stayz app did not work well. I would have expected to be able to obtain the key lock code from the app. Also, the 'directions' link to Google maps gave an entirely false suggestion of how to get to Birdwood Park Estate. It would also help if our hosts could place a sign just across the bridge pointing to their location.

Loved our night in Balingup. The cottage was very clean, well equipped, warm and comfortable. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. Everything was so easy and smooth. Eggs from resident chickens and home grown fruit were waiting for us. Oh and did I mention there was warm, home baked bread handed to us on arrival!!! Thank you

Already looking forward to our next visit

We loved our return visit to the lovely Birdwood Park Estate Farm Stay. Mary and Nye warmly welcomed us back to their property, greeting us with freshly baked bread which was absolutely delicious. The farm house was yet again beautifully clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The thoughtful touches of the hot water bottles and electric blankets were appreciated. I couldn’t recommend this stay highly enough. Thanks again for having us.

Homely & cozy

We had a fantastic stay & the dogs loved it too. Such a great place to relax & go for some beautiful picturesque walks. The place was lovely & clean with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The freshly baked bread was a real treat and the potbelly fire keep the whole place lovely & warm. Couldn’t of asked for a better stay.

Quaint, clean and peaceful country barn cottage

Clean and quaint barn cottage furnished with lovely vintage furniture. Cereals, milk, fruit bowl and freshly baked home made bread were provided. Reverse cycle air con and a woodfire pot belly heater keep you warm in winter. The linen is fresh and crisp. Rolling hills outside the back windows and the town of Balingup is only a short walk. Great stay!
