Many things are wonderful about this property. It's big, has a beautiful view out the front window, is in a quiet neighborhood, and is close to lots of things in El Paso. I would stay there again for sure.
But it may be the case that the owners (who I met briefly and were very friendly!) are new to home rental? There are a few things I think they'll do better as they get more experienced. HomeAway told me I'd get check-in information in the app 7-10 days in advance, but that didn't happen. It took several messages, with some long-ish delays, before I was able to get all the information, so communication could be a bit better.
Also, the front porch light wasn't on when I arrived at night, and I couldn't figure out how to turn it on (I suspect it isn't working). That's important because there are dark stairs to climb at night to get to the door, then a keypad to get the key, then the front door itself. That's something that needs to be fixed, not only for convenience, but also for safety.
Then there were a couple other little things: under the sink was very dirty; they had a coffee maker but no filters; there was no soap in the bathroom. It's true that owners don't need to supply everything for guests, but some of those little things are easy and are typically done these days with home rentals.
I don't intend this to be an overly negative review. As I said, this is a great place. But there's also a few things to improve that would be good for their guests.
