Perfect accommodation for an extended family getaway. Was large enough for everyone to have their space, with 2 showers and toilets. The large yard was great for the kids and dog to play in. It was in walking distance to the beach. The spa was a bonus. We would stay again, but longer to fully enjoy all that the area has to offer.

Disappointed with some aspects of the cleanliness of the property

We were very satisfied with the location and amenities provided at the property. However we were very disappointed with some aspects of the cleanliness of the property. The ceiling fans in the bedrooms were covered in a dust, as were the power points and light switches. One of the bedroom windows had mould on the window frame. The spa had sand in it and the outside decking and eating area had garden debri and dust on the floor.

Firstly this place has a lot of potential for being really amazing! Just let down by a few very small things E.g: In the main living room one of the switches trips all the lights in the house The main sliding glass doors don’t even open up And a few small other things this place would be amazing.

Really good value for money. Separate sleeping area for the kids was cool, and our small dog had a big grassy area to enjoy. We used the spa at sunset every day. Easy location halfway between beach and shops. Thank you!

Great time had by all!

We had a great time at this property We arrived and found the house and all amenities very clean and tidy. Loved the extra fluffy blankets in the lounge to snuggle with of a night. We loved discovering little luxuries, including a very well equipped kitchen. Spa was a needed after the day trips, was clean and serviced twice during our stay The close proximity to shops and beach was handy. Great place to do day trips from Property management staff were friendly and prompt with any maintenance that was need Other than the weather, a great stay was had by all!

Absolutely disgusting

The place was dirty and run down. Nothing like in the pictures. Extremely overpriced for what is offered. The fridge was filthy, the floor and furniture dirty and I could go on and on. The owner clearly does not care about feedback provided previously and making any improvements. He just cares about the money. Definitely do not stay there!

It was overall a nice stay.

It was a lovely property, some adjusting of the following would help: 1)probably needs a new dining table set with new chairs inside, as my niece sat on one of the chair’s and she fell to the ground and injured her back as the chair broke. 2)also the back yard lawn was not mowed and the pergola area was messy and not blown 3) also needs a new couch as we could feel the legs weren’t steady. 4) the bathroom tiles in the kids bedroom were coming off

Lovely property, however issues with the internet dropping in and out. Woodfire oven, fireplace and bbq were not cleaned from last visitors.

Cosy beach home

Bluetongue is located in an area that is near to everything. You can simply take a leisurely stroll to the beach or if you are lazy, a quick less-than-5-minutes drive to the beach. Whilst the description of the house was quite accurate, the cleanliness upon check in is not on par to the cleaning fee we paid for or would expect on check in. Whilst every effort was made to contact the property managers to have the house cleaned (the floors dirty and the shower cubicle was not clean at all), the cleaners never did come by to give the house another clean. We also had an issue with the oven working. This is not the fault of the owners or property managers but a guide on how to operate major appliances would be a plus-point.

The amazing view and the wonderful location

The place was well located as you can do many activities such as bushwalking, swimming at the closest beach (which was 4 minutes away), go drive around to see other beaches that were at 20-30 minutes drive (the journey was worth it when arriving at the destination) and many other things.

Sunny days

Overall our stay was great. Location is perfect, with a short walk to the beach and a sunny drenched deck with large backyard perfect for the dog. The down side is the house is in need of a really good clean, a dust and surfaces wiped. In the kitchen we found utensils and crockery had seen better day's and some things could do with being replaced. Plastic chopping board's had mould on them, milk frother still had old milk in it. We also found a pair of undies in the corner of a room. These are things that can be fixed and will make for a more comfortable stay.

Weekend Getaway

We loved our stay..so much to do, without needing to leave! The spa, outdoor pizza oven and facilities were fantastic and we even got to take our beloved furry family member with us! We hope to rebook later in the year.

Weekend away

We had a wonderful getaway with family! A total of 10 of us and we were comfortable and able to relax while the kids played and kept themselves entertained. We’ll definitely consider coming back in the future!

Great for families

Bluetongue is a charming, well-equipped and affordable property with a laidback beachy vibe. It was perfect for our extended family group, including our labrador puppy. We stayed for a week. The deck and backyard gets lots of sun and is a great place to hang out, and we enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen has everything you'd expect and more, and there is a washing machine and dryer in the laundry. The wi-fi was reliable and there are plenty of books, games and DVDs. The house is walking distance to a beautiful and dog-friendly beach and a cafe/shop with good coffee, excellent fish and chips, and general supplies. There is a very good playground and skate park nearby.

Family Winter Holiday

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was awesome that we could bring our dog too. Highlights were the jacuzzi, indoor fireplace, outdoor pizza oven and Netflix on both TVs was a big hit!!! Great location close to both the beach and shops. I would definitely recommend this property.

Had a great time. House had EVERYTHING you could possibly need. The annexe out the back was a great bonus for extra sleeping space. Spa was awesome, back yard huge-plenty of back yard cricket was had! The only thing missing was some deck chairs to relax by the spa. Totally recommend this property and would stay there again

Very poor security - should not be listed as pet friendly. Old house needs makeover - outside accommodation better than the dwelling. Location etc is good.

We work in a people business and very infrequently things go wrong - if this happens we will do our best to rectify the situation immediately. In busy periods it may take us a few hours to get to messages so picking up the phone is the fastest and best way for us to provide you with the support you need in an urgent situation.
