About susan chodakiewitz
It all started in Jerusalem... As soon as I graduated from pharmacy school I left for Israel. It was my dream to live in Israel and I left home promising my parents I would only go for 6 months. Three months later I didnt want to leave. After a six month program of studying Hebrew and Jewish studies in the desert city of Arad, I went to Jerusalem to work at Hadassah Hospital. There, a friend introduced me to Jacob, who I would marry a year later. Jacob was a medical resident at Hadassah finishing neurosurgery. Jacob was born and raised in Mexico, City I was born in Havana. At our first pizza date I KNEW --this was it---(it took him a few months) ---- we both loved Israel, we both spoke Hebrew with Spanish accents, we both had Jewish Latino upbringing, and we BOTH loved Jerusalem. And here we are 35 years later with three sons, a home in Los Angeles and a home in Jerusalem . We love sharing our home in Israel with travellers and visitors from around the world. Jacob continues to practice medicine in Los Angeles as well as helping victims of terror with chronic pain in Israel. I left pharmacy and returned to my true calling: writing and theater. Writing children's books and musical theater. Jacob and I go back to Jerusalem about twice a year to see friends, family and to get spirituality regenerated. When I am in israel and especially in Jerusalem I feel a great flow of creativity. In israel I feel more connected to the universe. I feel as if Iam in the center of the world. We hope you will stay at our place and enjoy the calm of our lovely street, the view from our rooftop and the vibes of love, creativity and oneness.

Why susan chodakiewitz chose Jerusalem
The area of North Talpiot and particularly Caspi street is a very unique neighborhood with lovely views. It is just above the historic Hebron road where in biblical times travellers could ride their caravans or walk to Jerusalem from the ancient city of Hebron. Today, North Talpiot is a modern lovely neighborhood. Tourists from all over the world stop at the Promenade near our house to see the views of the Old City, Temple Mount and Hills. It now houses the famous First Station, the newly renovated historic railroad station which now houses boutiques, markets and great restaurants. Our quiet, cobblestone lined street feels residential yet it is so central to restaurants, shops, markets and important historical and religious sites such as the Old City, Wailing Wall. We hope to share our home with you soon!
What makes this Townhome unique
What makes our home so special is that is a multi-level house. Each floor has its own style and flavor and the multi-level style provides privacy. From our rooftop terrace the breeze is delightful, the view is amazing and the peace is magical. We have a great view from the living room of the temple mount and you will enjoy coming back to your apartment after a day of touring to enjoy the view and a cup of tea or glass of wine on the rooftop terrace. I think it's magical. I hope you will too.
