Wonderful location. Beautiful house

Overall very enjoyable. However, property wasn’t very clean on arrival. Dust under furniture and on Venetian blinds. Used towels in a cupboard in one of the bedrooms. Sand on floor in bunk room. Light over one of bunks not working/broken. Water under front door (making door very hard to open) and water in key safe - likely from BBQ deck above. Not many glasses and mugs for the capacity of house. We loved the spectacular location and the layout of the house suited the family very well. Thank you

Amazing location

Location was just amazing. Direct access to beach from the property. House was interesting and modern with water views from all bedrooms. We really enjoyed our stay and loved the restaurant options nearby. Excellent Thai restaurant ’Lemongrass’ and cafe ‘Bank St Co’ for coffee breakfast & lunch. We hardly cooked at the property but there were many pots n pans in the kitchen cupboards (non-stick were all worn out though). It was a beautiful property however windows in bedroom didn’t open so couldn’t listen to the waves while in bed. Also no spare bin liners were provided by the cleaners which was a bit disappointing. Roof over the deck would have been nice as it rained during our stay and we couldn’t sit outside to enjoy the sound of waves. Please get carpet and throw rugs cleaned as they were really dirty. We had an infant so it was ok as she was in her bassinet but probably wouldn’t let a toddler crawl on that dirty carpet. Overall experience was great. I would surely recommend the property for the location and views but request the property manager to focus a little on detailed cleaning every now n then. If one pays 5 star rates they expect 5 star cleanliness too.

Great place but needed a clean

The house was great and the location is excellent. The only issue we had was the Internet wasn't working for the first few days until the technician came, and the house was a bit dirty when we got there, we had to vacuum the floors and wipe the kitchen surfaces when we arrived, Apart from that, it was an enjoyable stay.

Excellent "On The Beach" Home

Love the location and surrounds. House is in need of a good spring cleaning (spiders n webs) n BBQ needs to be repaired coz the ignition doesn't work so requires manual firing up. Otherwise, it's a great place and will return.

Peaceful getaway with stunning views.

If you want to get away from it all and thoroughly relax while simply watching the ocean, then this is the place for you. Through wind, rain and wild seas or sunshine and calm seas, you will be totally away from the stresses of life.

Will be back!

Firstly id like to say thank you to the accommodation agents you where really friendly and a pleasure to deal with. The house was amazing not sure why you wouldn't live there! Was super clean on arrival, the views were outstanding and the Beach right in front of the house was nice for a swim. I have zero complaints and look forward to staying here again! Thank you

GR8 FOR LARGE GROUPS

I'm inclined to agree with the other comment about cleanliness . We have just returned from a weekend staying there . The house itself is amazing , huge and the view incredible . It accommodates well for large groups/ families . However, it really does need a thorough clean . The floors were dusty/sandy , spider/ cobwebs hung from the ceilings all over and we didn't really appreciate seeing a tray full of cigarette butts on the outside terrace. The shower in one room also constantly dripped . The kitchen we felt was well equipped , drawers full of utensils and two fridges - brilliant. A coffee machine is a must though !!!! The beds were really comfortable , however bear in mind if there are four couples staying , one of the double rooms is more like a storage room with a shockingly uncomfortable sofa bed . This really cannot be classed as a bedroom . The large bunk room was fabulous for our teenage boys - they had a blast and were well away from the rest of us on the lower level ! The location is surreal, and just prefect for a beach hideaway retreat with a great group of friends. Just more attention to detail on the general cleaning, maintenance & upkeep and it would justify the $$$

Clear the mind!

For the cost it was a bit of a disappointment. The property is missing that attention to detail. The water filter tap was broken so we had to purchase water in the town as tap water was undrinkable, there is no coffee machine, every shower was calcified and terrible, poor kitchen accessories, no ice trays or sharp knives, not enough toilet paper for a weeks stay and the bathrooms and windows needed a good scrub. The view and location is amazing and the the house itself is very well designed to accomodate a group. Beds were very comfy and the large dining table was great for a long dinner party. Outdoor kitchen was very spacious and the two decks provided shelter from the sun and wind as the weather changed during the day. Loved the house and with some improvements I think it could be fabulous as currently the price does not represent the quality that is offered.

Great Getaway.

Had a great time at the house staying with 3 other couples. Fantastic entertaining area upstairs and wonderful view from the deck. Had everything we needed.
