Excellent location

Fabulous location right near the beach. Very simple - basic- accommodation which suited us perfectly. No one upstairs so nice and quiet. Being opposite the beautiful park and a quick walk down to the beach was the real highlight. We will be back.

We enjoyed our stay here - a roomy flat for two with a view of the water and proximity to the beach across the road.

Great little beach flat

The flat was basic but very comfortable and nicely decorated.Great beaches and walking paths right outside the door.The only issue we had was that there was sparse mobile data coverage inside the unit and the wifi wasn’t working, but Trisha responded to our query promptly and explained there had been an issue with repairing the connection after a recent outage. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect beach side property

This was a fantastic place to stay! Everything was the way it was advertised. Straight across the road from the beach. And close to all the amenities you could need. Highly recommend.

The water is crystal clear and marine life are healthy they come close to shore!The beaches were perfectly clean as Advertise True to there word! The accommodations was Perfectly Clean and Very Comfortable and Relaxing The people are very friendly and it lives up to be one excellent get away from the Hustle and Bustle of City Life!

Great location directly opposite the beach access. However the unit smelled mouldy and the plates we not washed properly. The bathroom sink didnt drain properly. One of the lounge room window frame around the glass was broken. There were no fly wires on the windows and no air conditioner. Tolerable only because it was near where I needed to be.

Very basic accommodation. U need to bring your towels, tea towels, bed sheets and pillow slips. No tea or coffee provided. Something that is very basic and provided in other B&Bs that will make ur stay comfortable. U need to bring everything basically. And u could hear the noise from upstairs occupants. However, very close to the beach. That's the only plus to this property.

Great location, over the road from the beach !

On arrival, the property looked great. Had everything we needed. Bed comfortable , but a few minor issues which need attending to . I have advised owner what they are. Dont want to give a bad review as when these issues are seen to , there wont be a problem. I would stay here again.

Not sure if that place was cleaned, if so, cleaner must be blind. Window in leaving area is not lockable and missing screen net. Third world country accommodation.

The Jervis Bay beach shack is in a great location in Vincentia straight across the road from the water and picnic area. It's a lovely, peaceful location. The accommodation itself is reasonably comfortable but the place could really do with a good scrub clean. A few things to note: - you need to bring your own linen, which was fine, but the information shows it's a queen bed and doona. The doona is not a queen, but an odd size which was too big for our queen doona cover so we folded it up a bit to fit in - outdoor furniture is in really poor condition. We sat outside to enjoy the peace and the view, but almost fell off one of the benches as the leg was rotted and broken - if there are people staying upstairs you can hear the noise of them walking around and tv on

Amazing location

Property location is absolutely amazing. Right across from the beach and public bbq facilities as well as a short drive to the local shops. The accomodation was very clean, spacious, and had all the essential (& functional) kitchen facilities. The property seems to also be well insulated as we didn’t require any heating or extra blankets during what was a really cold and rainy week, despite it being October. We would definitely book this property again the next time we come for a holiday.

Disappointing

I do not believe this is a stay of 4.5 rating as stated. We had been directed to pick up the keys at a Real Estate Office which was 10 km away from the property. Unfortunately none of the 10 keys we were given fitted the door. We rang the RE Office and they didn’t know what to do. We rang the Property manager who arrived a short time later with the key, which was fortunate as by then the Real Estate Office had closed. Stressful! By then we needed a cup of tea but unfortunately there were no teabags, coffee or milk provided. Even the cheapest motels provide this. The advertisement for the property was misleading. The pictures of the lounge chairs showed cushions on them - there were no cushions. The picture of the bedroom shows 4 large pillows and 2 extra cushions. This made it look comfy and inviting. But in fact there were only 2 pillows, and given there was no bedhead-only a brick wall to lean against if sitting up in bed, it would have been nice to have had those extra pillows. It would have been nice to have a mirror in the bedroom. Also the advertisement showed a fluffy floor mat which was not there. We both like to read in bed, but unfortunately there was only 1 bedside lamp provided, which was disappointing. The handle of the bathroom door came off in my husband’s hand. It was clearly broken before we arrived as part of the handle mechanism was on the nearby shelf. The shower tap leaked constantly which is not only irritating and wasteful but the water leaked through the hob and across the floor in front of the nearby toilet, making the exercise of obtaining relief into one of avoiding getting feet and clothes wet. As requested we brought our own sheets, tea towel, hand and bath towels and bathmat but one bathmat was not enough to soak up the amount of water that leaked out from the hob over the floor after having a shower. The website advertised a bath with shower - there was no bath. There were numerous ants coming through the sliding door of the bedroom- unfortunately no insect spray was available in the cupboards. Neither of the 2 clocks on the wall worked! These are small things but they do make a difference to the enjoyment and comfort of the guests. They would also not cost much to remedy. Stay by the beach

Well appointed with everything you could want in kitchen. Very comfortable bed and great location just over the road from the beach. Would happily stay again.
