Enjoy this 2 bedroom 1 bath home with Private Swimming Pool and Enjoy view from the Terraza outdoor seating area. Has automatic opener to the gate with completely private parking and entrance. Views of the ocean and the hills and the sunrises and sunsets are amazing! Dining room plus a rooftop dining area with bbq where you can enjoy your meal and margaritas while enjoying the view. Has good WIFI internet.

You'll enjoy a lovely ocean view from your private third floor terrace with outdoor seating, which has wood fire bbq ready to grill for your fresh catch, plus island bar and sink.

A short drive brings you to the beach and there are restaurants and grocery stores close by with friendly locals to help make your visit even more enjoyable. Walkable local mercado store with everything you need just down the street.

The house has 1 full bathroom in the interior which has a door from the one of the bedrooms as well as from the living area.

A privacy wall with locked gate separates the outdoor area from the adjacent guest casita also available for rental. Pool is private and exclusive for use by this main house guests only unless you invite casita guests.

Please note map pin location is incorrect and no longer changeable as per VRBO rules without starting a new listing. This home is located in El Sargento several blocks west toward the mountains from Las Palmas Restaurant. Within half mile of the kite launch beach of Fig Tree or the Palmas Campground. Driving directions will be included after your booking.

Not clean

Floor was very dusty fridge not clean Pool not clean.Easy things to address but did not get done.The place is ok lacks electrical plugs by the beds no decoration very doll.We have stayed in La Ventana many times this will not be up there in our list.

Great stay!

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. It is perfect for us. We love the roof top deck and morning sunrise views. Plenty of room for our wing foil gear. The property manager is very responsive if you have questions or something comes up.

Didn’t stay!!

Poor experience, arrived early and able to enter house but no power or water. Left message for host and didn’t hear from her for 3 hours. Yard is overgrown with weeds and the pool was cold and dirty. Refrigerator stunk terribly. When she did call back her first response was wait till dark and see if neighbors have power. We found a motel and she did refund our money.

Great views

Loved NY Eve on the rooftop. Very comfortable. The listing was misleading as it gave a general area about 2 km away. But very happy with it. It'd be nice if a broom and dustpan was upstairs. Could keep it cleaner. Also leaving a cheat sheet on local eateries and grocers would help. We found the fishmonger on the last day. And struggled to refind the taceria we saw the first day. Also the directions could improve. Ie go to the 4 way stop sign 1 block past the 2 90 degree turns. Turn left and drive (700 m) and it's on the right.

This place was perfect for us

We loved the rooftop area and spent every morning and evening there. The location was great. The property manager was extremely responsive. The gate had a couple of issues during our stay and she was very helpful and solution oriented. We would definitely stay here again given the opportunity.

House with a View

We enjoyed the rooftop for family BarBQue and watching New Years fireworks. Everything was well laid out and we enjoyed having two bedrooms, pool and a rooftop kitchen/BarBQue. Tap water was salty so we had our own French drinking water. Showering and washing dishes in it requires a lot more soap. We felt comfortable, safe and enjoyed the well stocked kitchen. Thanks for a Great stay!

Relaxing and enjoyable!

This property fit our needs perfectly… it was a quiet, safe neighborhood. We had plenty of space for the two of us. We were a bit disappointed that the pool was so cold so were unable to use it but it was November so it’s understandable…. There were dogs barking in the night sometimes. Overall this is a wonderful place to stay!

Misleading

The house overall was Ok…. Not great. Upon our arrival the house was not cleaned. Floor was covered in critter, insect droppings. The sink had not been washed out leaving a strong fishy odor. The bathroom toilet had mold in the toilet which also smelt bad. The bedrooms had cobwebs on the lights and all over the window. The house location was incorrect and didn’t show the neighbor casita in the photos. Also there was random people that showed up on the property.

wonderful property

My husband and I both loved this place and will return next year. It is actually nicer/bigger than it look online. The pool is great. The rooftop area with cowboy grill and view is so enjoyable. The area is quiet and down the street is a killer hotdog stand for a late night snack. The owner was quickly responsive when we had a few questions.

FUN IN MEXICO

A NICE LOCATION, HOWEVER, THE STREET TO IT WAS NOT MAINTAINED VERY WELL BUT BEING MEXICO THIS IS HOW IT IS APPARENTLY. A LOT OF BARKING AND LOOSE DOGS IN THRU THE PUEBLO AND A LOT OF CROWING ROOSTERS VERY EARLY IN THE MORNING TOO. THE HOUSE IS FINE FOR THE TYPE OF STAY WE WANTED HOWEVER IT DOES GET VERY WARM AND THE HOUSE IS NOT VERY WELL SEALED AGAINST HEAT VIA THE SINGLE-PANED ALUMINUM WINDOWS AND LACK OF MAYBE SOME WHITE ALUMINUM BLINDS FOR BETTER PRIVACY AND LITE CONTROL. A LOT OF HEAT GAIN WAS FELT THRU THE ALUMINUM. THE MAIN INSIDE DOOR TO THE UPSTAIRS AREA SHOULD HAVE BEEN INSULATED AND SEALED TO KEEP OUT HEAT FROM THE GARAGE AND CRAWLY CRITTERS AND HAVE AN ACTIVE AVAILABLE-TO-USE SECURITY LOCK ON IT. THE GARAGE WAS NICE TO PARK IN. THE DOORS COULD HAVE BEEN INSULATED AND SEALED TO KEEP OUT THE LARGER CRAWLY CRITTERS. WE FOUND 2 SMALL LIZARDS INSIDE THE KITCHEN AREAS DURING OUR STAY. THE POOL WAS REALLY REFRESHING. WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE THOUGH IF THEY WOULD HAVE PUT UP A PRIVACY SCREEN TO THE STREET TO OBSCURE THE LOOKY LUES DRIVING BY OCCASIONALLY. LAST BUT NOT LEAST A WATER FILTER SET UP ON-SITE FOR AT LEAST THE DRINKING WATER WOULD HAVE BEEN A BIG PLUS. ALL IN ALL, IT WAS A NICE PLACE. I REALLY LIKED THE ROOFTOP VIEW OF THE SKY AND SEA. WATCH OUT FOR THE OCCASIONAL COW!

The place is set up a lot nicer than the pictures suggest. It’s bigger and the views from the rooftop are worth staying here alone. La Ventana is a great town and this is a great choice to experience it.

Off the beaten path but lovely!

This place was great, off the beaten path but still walkable if you have a bit of time to kill. No issues, not for someone with mobility issues as living space is on second floor. Appreciated the jug of potable water !!

Great place

We stayed here as 2 couples and really enjoyed having plenty of room to store all our toys. You will have to drive to any kite beach but it was nice to be somewhere more remote.

Stunning casa with amazing views

We stayed 21 nights and it has been fantastic all along. The host is very helpful, the house has everything you need with even a swimming pool. The gold of our stay has been thst roof top which offers a huge bbq area with a stunning sea and mountain view.

Not good for the summer time

I have to make a comment, which might help to improve the property. The living room/kitchen on the second floor is not separated by a door from the garage. As a consequence, all the heat comes up to the living room, which makes it totally impossible to stay in. That to my opinion "kills" the good (in general) property. The AC is not only useless, but wasteful in this situation. Another thing is the driveway to the garage, which is very narrow, making it very unsafe to backing up during the night hours. The both problems can be easily fixed, if the owner pays attention to my comment. It would significantly improve the property value.

Gorgeous house with everything you need to relax

Generally, the house was great. Amazing roof deck. Nice sized kitchen, clean, plenty of space to hang out even invite guests over. Some kayaks and snorkels are free to use. Plenty of towels. Kitchen stuff. A nice manager that shows you around. Internet was ~9MB down which is fast for this neighborhood and works for Zoom. I didn't try to walk to a beach, but understand it's 1-2 miles. Probably better to have a rental car. One caveat -- As of 4/11/21, the map was pinned near a resort called Palapas Ventana, but the house was in fact a 7 min drive and 37 min walk from that pin. I needed to check out early for this reason and was only able to arrange to get a partial refund with the owner.

Great pad for this year's LV kite trip

Two BR one BA with ample living space, garage and nice kitchen (new appliances). Located off of pole #9 so had good access to Rasta and Palapa beaches (short drive). Location had a nice view of the water from the rooftop. Good internet connectivity and smart TV on-site Garage was a nice bonus for storing gear and drying wetsuits/gear. Had some noise from nearby construction but not a problem. Would definitely recommend based on value and conveniences.

Best sunrise and sunset viewing!

This is is brand new house with an incredible rooftop patio. The view is beautiful. We watched incredible sunrises and sunsets from the roof as well as the full moon rising above the bay. We liked this brand new house and appreciated the helpful property manager and being able to communicate with the owner. This location is great because while it’s a little bit away from the bustle of town, it’s still close to the beach and activities. It was comfortable for our family of 4 and we appreciated the kitchen and washer and dryer. The neighborhood felt safe and we would recommend this place to friends.
