Tiara Sands is a beautiful Condominium property with 24 hour on-site security guards located directly on the pacific ocean right on the beach and across the street from Marina Mazatlan located in Nuevo Mazatlan. Watch the hummingbirds all day from your private deck looking over the boats and enjoy the Marina. Enjoy watching the waves and hearing the sound of the soothing waves and Cerritos beach with miles of sandy beach for those romantic moonlit walks on the beach. Nearby is a brand new golf course, restaurants, Gallerias a two story Mall, and the open market downtown. This is one of the nicest properties in the area. But if you want action you are close to the Golden zone with the largest Ocean Front boardwalk's in the world called the "Malecon" and is only a , $5 cab ride. The Mazatlan Malecon (Boardwalk) is 13 miles long excellent for roller bladeing, walking, riding bikes, running, in front of the Ocean all the way to Olas Altas full of restaurants (Next to Downtown. The Malecon has many beach restaurants while you enjoy the serenity of the unobstructed views of the ocean and the islands sitting on the beautiful sandy beaches what a romantic slice of Paradise. Note: Tiara Sands has nice beach front six months a year and ocean front the six months. With Mazatlan having more than ten kilometers of beach you're sure to have fun.

Nohemi, the property manager was very helpful and responsive. Checking in was a bit challenging for us because we couldn't get wifi at the airport. Also, I didn't have a Mexican SIM card. We were supposed to call on arrival. Our taxi driver couldn't find the condo. I wasn't aware that you couldn't put toilet paper into the toilet. That was an issue for us especially since there was no covered garbage bin.

Beach holiday

Beach is spectacular. There is no shade during the afternoon and no place to actually sit on the beach in a chair with an umbrella or other shade options unless you bring them with you from home.

Condo disappointing & extremely noisy

Condo was lacking, with limited supplies (very few towels, silverware, dishes cooking items, extra bedding). Unit is small which is ok, but cluttered with worn (extra) furniture that makes movement inside the condo difficult (old couch and excess chairs in dinning area, desk in bedroom and old furniture stuffed under the bed). We had to buy extra towels, dishes and dish towels, garbage bags etc...). Beautiful balcony, which was unusable do to excessive construction noise. We expected road noise, but the construction noise (7:30am to 7:30pm 7 days a week) was so loud, we could not even open the balcony door for fresh air. We know this is outside the owners control, but we were not made aware of the 3 high rise construction projects directly across and bèside the condo building. Unit pictures on the webpage don't show this and are old and should be updated. Pictures also don't show the clutter. Beach, ocean access and pool area were outstanding. Over all we are very disapointed with the condo. We had family staying a few doors down in another complex and they had a much nicer condo for 50/night less.

Property was good but the shower ran out of hot water once and the hot water to the kitchen sink took a long time to get there, They need to offer a toaster in the kitchen, other than that was a good stay

Tiara Sands Condo

We enjoyed renting this condo. The condo came equipped with everything we needed for a 4 week stay. The location is great as you can enjoy the ocean, walking paths or take other transportation to explore Mazatlan.

John was fantastic!

John was fantastic with everything. From helping us get settled in. Any questions we had, recommendations for the area. Questions about our Service Dog from neighbors. He was just great. Couldn’t have asked for better. A note about the building though. The ramp is steep for wheelchairs, like a 45 or 50 degree angle. There is no way to get to the beach if you are in a wheelchair. There are ramps along the Malecon though, you will need to take a taxi though. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it and stay again.

pent all monday in mazatlan hospital in pain from back and spine. decided to fly back to canada a

as I could make contact with john landlord. internet and wifi went out. these people should not be part of VRBO . I have rented from you for many years with no problems.. this guy has no idea what is expected of him.he looks like a homeless person and the lady on your listing was there but didn't speak or understand English. I think he lived there and decided to get some rent money.very disappointing experience and he said he would refund any money because I didn't cancel before I arrived ???? so happy to forfeit 6 weeks of rent money just to be out of there.

This property is famous in Mazatlan for it was once known as the El Pato Hotel 20 years ago. But was recently remodeled to condo's with beautiful old world architecture and charm. When film stars would come to Mazatlan they always picked El Pato Hotel. So if you want to see where the stars vacationed come to Tiara Sands. You won't be disappointed.
