great house for groups especially 2 families
great house and walkable for town
Great place for a large family
We had a great stay, wonderful view and plenty of space for our large family. And walking distance to HR, would recommend
Perfect for multiple families
We had a great time with 4 families including 3 kids under 5. The kids especially loved nook!
Two things we had trouble with were the vacuum didn’t work and the BBQ was out of propane.
We loved it and would consider staying again.
Perfect for our group
Finally, after six Thanksgiving vacation stays at various homes in and around the greater Portland area, we found a nice property that fits our family. Thank you Amy! This home is recently remodeled, fresh, clean and well-supplied. Plenty of space for our family of 7 adults and 2 children. Location of the house is convenient to markets, restaurants, etc. The weather was typical of this time of year (rainy, chilly) so we weren’t able to enjoy the outdoor space. Also, many businesses had limited hours for the holiday (of course) so we didn’t have the opportunity to experience Hood River at its best. However, during the “dry season” I would imagine this house to be awesome. Cascade Haus is definitely worth considering for a vacation stay in Hood River, and it is only a one-hour drive to the Portland airport.
Clean, Simple, Walking Distance, No Complaints!
We had a party of 14 adults and we loved the property. It is a comfortable 12-person house, but we had to squeeze and made it work. Main kitchen was great, outdoor seating was pleasant, and internet worked fine. Did not use the grill, downstairs kitchenette, tv, or anything else. Looks small from the front and is slightly less roomy than expected, but no complaints. We were all very happy with this rental!
Great house, great location
This is a great house in a perfect location to walk to town. The property was super clean and had everything we needed. Nice kitchen and great yard. We rented downstairs and upstairs which had plenty of comfortable bedrooms for a large group.
