Great stay

Excellent location with beach access right across the road as well as easy to deal with property managers. The pool and pool area was beautifully clean. The only downfalls was the ceiling fans in the property didn’t work properly and space in the kitchen is pretty well non existent. Otherwise the property had everything you need for a holiday home in a fantastic location.

Could be great, but…….

The unit is in a great location, quiet and opposite the beach. It looks very nice, well furnished and decorated but it is let down by lack of attention to detail: Apparently the letting agent, Elders, was supposed to give us a Starter Pack of basics when we collected the key. Yhat didn’t happen, so went went shopping for toilet paper, detergent, soap, dish cloth, and washing powder, all of which were in the Stater pack we received 2 days later! Besides all that, the salt and pepper shakers are empty, there were no details Rd wifi or password, the security doors didn’t lock,kitchen floor was greasy as was the filthy bbq which didn’t work anyway(we found a gas lighter in the kitchen eventually but , of course, that didn’t work either). The kitchen had virtually no bench space or storage, the laundry tap ran constantly, one tv didn’t have a remote and the other wasn’t connected to aerial. I could go on, but in summary, dubious maintenance and poor attention to detail. Stayz promotes their properties as better than other booking agencies, but this place proved to be just the opposite.

Unfortunately the coffee machine only takes Aldi coffee pods and the nearest Aldi is in Lismore so we were unable to have brewed coffee.

This property was homely and warm reminded me of a beautiful B&B and just across the road from Airforce Beach to take advantage of the beautiful sunrises the only issue was a very small kitchen but would definitely stay here again The whole process was simple and easy and the property managers are great

Absolutely lovely

It was our second stay at the same apartment. We absolutely love the location. The apartment has a nice pool, lovely outdoor setting, spacious bedrooms, lovely amenities. I highly recommend this property for a relaxed family getaway.

Great location but...

The customer service was amazing and the location is second to none. Right across the road from Airforce beach which is empty most the time- and there's a few paths which lead from the road right to the beach. The apartment was clean and nice though the decor is mix matched and feels a touch unwelcoming, the plethora of seashells everywhere was nice. The big problems we had: the Air Con unit was broken (and no one alerted us to this at any time before we needed to use it and had to call LJ Hooker). For an apartment in this range, properly working Air Con is a staple and not negotiable. More unwinding however, was the state of the pool. The pictures online look delicious but in reality, the filter didn't work and there were thousands and thousands of bugs in the water. There was half a skimming screen (with no pole) there so we skimmed it ourselves but even that had a tear in it so it wasn't very effective. We found some sort of little lobster looking crab guy in there as well- about 3 inches long and pretty gross. Overall the place was good but we wouldn't consider staying again unless the pool and air con issues were tended to because the actual condition of the property isn't reflected in the photos- which leave the guest with too much disappointment for such a fantastic location.
