Perfect for a weekend getaway

We had a great time at the casita. John was a wonderful host. The location was perfect - close to unique restaurants and the river floats. The casita was clean and cozy. Highly recommend the casita for your weekend getaway.

Perfect Cozy Guest House

Fantastic place in a neighborhood 6 miles form Greune, Whitewater Amphitheater and tubing. Great hosts made everything super easy. Would stay here again!

Great stay!

We had a great stay! John went above and beyond on making us feel comfortable and welcome. The house is adorable and spotless. It’s in a quiet neighborhood and about 10 min from the craziness off the summer river crowds. Next whitewater concert we go to we will stay again!

Gorgeous Views

The neighborhood was absolutely beautiful! Saw deer every morning. Very close to Gruene and the beautiful River Rd. The space was very very clean and had an amazing shower! The only downfall is it was very close to the main house but the host provided complete privacy. It’s a very well maintained and gorgeous guest house. Thank you again!

Honeymoon Hideaway

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! We were looking for a one night stay and this place was just like the pictures. It was so clean tidy and just a cute place tucked away in a beautiful neighborhood! The Rucker’s were so sweet and replied in a timely manner. They catered to our early arrival due to our wedding. They were so sweet and left a bottle of champagne for us to celebrate our marriage. Can’t recommend them enough! If we are ever in the area again we plan to book another stay!

Beautiful & Very Clean Casita

The casita was very clean, which is my number one priority! Location of casita is off the beaten path in a beautiful hill country neighborhood. We saw deer and a roadrunner while in the neighborhood! It was only 10 minutes to Gruene and about 20 min to New Braunfels. It was very clean and outfitted with all the essentials. The entrance to the property faces the owners home, but we were given complete privacy and priority parking spot. The bed was firm and a little small, but worked out just fine for the weekend. There is a sofa that converts to a bed as well that would suffice for kiddos. We appreciated the thoughtful touches as well, such as a few snacks and peppermint tea. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we are visiting the Gruene area.

Fantastic

We chose this place for a trip to Gruene Hall. It's only about 12 minutes to drive there. I recommend getting there before dark if you're not familiar with the Hill Country. ... lots of deer out in the evening! The casita is absolutely darling! It's behind a beautiful home in a wonderful neighborhood, but it's not lacking privacy in any way. Besides being cute and comfortable, it's the cleanest place ever and very safe. The pictures online don't even do it justice. This is definitely a place I will look at staying another time, if it's available!

Amazing Weekend Stay!

The property is BEAUTIFUL and I enjoyed every second of my stay. The location is amazing (very close to everything that we wanted to do)! Even though the house is a guest house, thw owners respected our privacy. Would absolutely recommend!

Clean, comfortable and cozy!

My kids and I enjoyed our two night stay at this cozy casita. The owners were very kind and friendly while completely respecting our privacy. The casita is well taken care of, clean and nicely decorated. It has all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. We were able to visit many attractions in New Braunfels, Gruene and San Antonio area. Coming back to the casita in the evening we saw many deer in the neighborhood. We would without a doubt stay here again and have no hesitation telling others about this great location.
