Thanks for the review Chris. It is such a shame that you did not call our 24/7 helpline or even enter the Villa (which was perfectly clean), before leaving and booking alternate accommodation. Had you of contacted us, we could have sent housekeeping straight around to clean the outdoor entryway (no more than a 5 minute job). It is important to note that the property was fully cleaned on the Friday afternoon, for your Saturday arrival. Unfortunately, given the climate and time of year, it appears a micro bat decided to make itself at home outside of the villa on the Friday night, with the villa being unoccupied. The neighbouring occupied villas were all perfectly fine. Given that the property was completely fit for purpose and you didn't give us the opportunity to resolve the issue, we were not actually obliged to give a refund. As a gesture of goodwill, a 50% refund was provided.

With regards to your comments about the property being a little tired, we are happy to confirm that the owners of Bimbadeen Estate are currently planning major renovations, which will see an overhaul on all of the villas. With regards to the plug for the sink, this has since been located. We were not aware of any issues with the door knob, but do have a 24/7 helpline guests can call at anytime during their stay.
