It is just minutes away from beautiful Georgian Bay, approximately 20 minutes from Henvey Inlet, 45 minutes from the town of Parry Sound or 60 minutes from Sudbury. The house is fully furnished and comes equipped with the basic amenities.
The town of Britt is the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature.
The town offers two Marina’s, a General Store that serves as a Liquor & Beer Store, Motel & Inn, Restaurant & Community Centre, Senior Centre, Post Office, Public School, Library & Legion. Because of the Covid19 Pandemic the Restaurant & Legion are closed and safe distancing is practiced at all public areas in the town. However, there is a Chip Wagon a short distance away on Highway 69 North. During the summer months you can enjoy a day paddling the Magnetawan River in your canoe or kayak or a day of fishing on beautiful Georgian Bay. Britt is the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. There are many parks & trails just minutes away.
Although this cottage comes equipped with most kitchen & bathroom essentials you will need to bring your own hand & shower soap, shampoo, personal care items, bath, beach, dish & tea towels, and any extra bedding that will make you feel safe during this time of uncertainty during the Covid19 pandemic. A small barbecue is available upon request.
This property is ideal for a couple to enjoy outdoor activities year round, ie. fishing, hiking, boating, enjoying the great outdoors. If relaxation & solitude is what you enjoy then it is a great place to get away from all the hustle & bustle of the big city... this is a great retreat!
Normally you are invited to stop by the "Happenin Inn" log house to enjoy some live music & good times. However during the Pandemic the Inn is closed. Check out my other properties listed on this site.
